In a country where health itself is a commodity, I find entertainment accountable to its viewers. Because we are the people who make them who they are- it is the viewer who gets the sponsors for the channel...so they cannot disregard us.

I felt the channel let me down because there has been no clarity on the issue. The least they could have done is come out with some explanation- which is what SP had done. That is some professionalism Sony can learn from its SP neighbours. This I say because this is the first time Sony has seen such a massive response for any of its shows. And as a channel that promised its viewers to be different from the rest, they owed it to the PH and teh viewers to give them enough time to wrap up the story neatly. 6 weeks would have been good, considering Sony has not aired the promo of an option in this time slot yet. The fact they choose to maintain silence while the PH is willing to shoot and doesn't mind baring itself to the dissection by the fans shows who has something to hide here.

Or Sony is busy attending the wedding of one Brahmin Dixit and one Bengali Nutritionist! 🤢

See...this is where the difference is. Sony as such has stayed away from the naagins etc...so In that sense i still feel they are somewhere there where other GECS don't even cater to the niche audience. But lets also be fair to understand that they run a business which needs sponsors...If the numbers are not fetched despite all the love the online audience gives it...what is the option for a business. I am not privy to what happened,,Obviously the PH must have got the raw end of the stick...so sympathy with them is natural. But as a PH out there in the market, how can u not have read the fine details of your deal. All of Salil tweets came true so there is some truth in the point of some mess up. I agree the PH was unfortunately caught napping becos the illness of the actress., No one can be blamed for it and i comepletely accept if they decided to stick with the options of NIki or none else.. As a PH I would have done the same. But is all the problem due to a two week absence...its a bit bigger than that so I don't absolve PH of its responsibility. for me both are culpable...percentages vary

Can a person at the receiving end say - I like only one type pf fan? I am guessing that is what SRK was hinting on when he made the jabra fan (Not watched it, so pardon me if I am off the mark)- Was that not on certain rules fandom must impose on itself and was he not speaking on behalf of all his colleagues too?

I did not watch FAn either...just making the point about fan fickledom...Shah rukh may still be in the position...I can't see many being in that position in the entertainment space..

Tarunima's tweet- You and I know about the cycle of life. This tweet is just supposed to remind people like us about that ..but there is a vast majority of immature fans out there who need to be told this for the first time. Because they have not seen life like we have probably... After all, there are Shravans who had everything laid on a platter for them all their life and Sumans who have learned life is not so easy...😉😆...So...I guess I took Tarunima in the sense I wanted to, if she had intended to put down some fans it never occurred to me because it was not directed at me.

If she had indeed intended to be preachy, I guess that section of fandom does need some preaching to!
