is it really india forums. pls ban me for saying this but what was wrong with salute to army thread? we cant even praise our army for this historical day mods?🥱i came online n saw thread got thrashed. thrash the hateful cmmnts but not the thread. guess mods r so bitter towards indians n india forums... i have no problem with any1 n every1 is free to join this site but if we cant praise our army then change the name of this site!!🥱 i see celebration threads of other countries but u guys have problem when it comes to india related? i guess some butthurts ruined that thread in the end n we can post anythng good related to our nation in any if's section! anways mods take it or leave it but _ MERA BHARAT MAHAAN!

Mods here just see titles and trash posts.
They would get 100 reports a day , they aren't paid for this job. So we have to ensure that our important posts don't get trashed or merged .
By rules, any non BW topic is not allowed . So we have to toe the line .

there have been 50 topics at least in the last 10 days on uri attack.. most survived for a long time.. but the most important saluting indian army which protects the entire country gets trashed? yesterday's operation affects everyone including bollywood.. the problem with this site is not the topic but as soon as things get heated mods don't want to trash the posts and instead trash the entire topic

as if each and every rule is followed here !!!

Dont get misled by the name , its India - Forums because its a open liberal social platform focusing on Indian entertainment and provides people from across the globe a chance to get access to info and have open discussions about Indian shows primarily! Its not named India forums in the way you see it -right or wrong is debatable!

Also coming to the thread you have questioned I think its home should have been the DM forum however I would request you to reserve your opinion on the ultimate result as sometimes sensitive threads are moved to RCV for ease of review else if the thread is left live in forum even if locked reports do keep pouring in and once reviewed are moved back to main forum and reopened depending on the level of breach and DT discretion

PS This is just my personal view based on my experience as a mod and in no way meant to reflect or question the DT here!

What hurts is that thread had so many congratulatory msgs for our soliders. And it got thrashed. That's the saddest thing. :(

I am not even an Indian yet I feel it was wrong to trash a thread congratulating a valiant act .

For all you know it might be re opened and moved to DM forum later on I mean it does take a while to review 145 pages! If it does not happen then you are free and justified to question :)
