ya she did. and do u know..........................dillip gave madhubala and diamond ring but her was aggainst it so she used to live in bandra (on the cost in mumbai) and madhu went and throwed the ring in the water.

wait.. i think you are getting confused.. it was Dev Anand who gave ring to yesteryears actress. forgot her name.. his first love.. oh what was her name.. she threw the ring in sea.. it wasn't madhu😊

ohh ya it was meena kumari and her nani opposed it bcuz he was a hindu. and she just spoilt her life she drank and drank shraab and when she died she did not even have for her coffin.

^^You are right Mona. There is no nani in Madhubala's life.

Her life was controlled by her father, Ataullah Khan, who was well! greedy for money and more money so never accepted Dilip Kumar-Madhubala's love. When there was an outdoor shooting her father opposed that too and that time Madhubala sided with her father wheras Dilip Kumar supported director. The matter went to court and they replaced Madhubala with Vyjayantimala. I think it was 'Naya Daur'.

From there on the relationship went kaput because there was no way the greedy father would let Madhubala marry anyone.

She was even famous in Hollywood and some approached her but her father never agreed.

She married Kishore Kumar when her career was on downhill and then it was just tragic.
