Also Om these past few weeks has been relegated to being one of the many pretty pillars in the Oberoi mansion and Kunal is busy with "Macchar maar rhe hai". So , like they say- Once bitten twice shy , i hope the show displays at least some elements of how it was promoted to be.

two scenarios :-

a) A new character is introduced with VM playing her and she can be whiter than snow. Om will obviously doubt her and think this to be some clever ploy by Ishana. Eventually he will find this to be not the case and later he falls in love.

b)same as above but it turns out that the new character is Ishana----who is also chutki and was adopted by her father after she got separated from her family and Anika.

as cliched as these sound , and i am sure many other serials have gone down this route , it could have worked here too.

Many people on this Forum in support of other Jodis have said that the tried and tested works. So it could have worked in this case as well.

Sadly , Gul and her team had 0 interest to retain either the character or the actor.

I just wish they had been honest back then after the confrontation scene. Perhaps this wouldnt have affected me as much because right now i feel a little betrayed---we were asked to wait and we did and got this in return.
