Watch: Aamir Khan encourages youth in the impactful Shuruaat Hoon Main' video

The stage will soon be set for the biggest event of the year - The Global Citizen Festival, that will be held in Mumbai on November 19. The music festival that will be held on world toilet day, will have a lineup of celebrities like Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Amitabh Bachchan performing at the event, apart from Coldplay and Jay Z highlighting the music festival.

Unlike other concerts, tickets to this show had to be earned by pledging support to the initiative and completing a set of tasks after which over 10,000 free tickets were distributed to the winners. This 'Action Journey' ranged from learning more about the Sustainable Development Goals to signing petitions for proper sanitary facilities on Indian highways.

Aamir Khan, an ambassador for Global Citizen India said, "The actions that Global Citizens take on water, sanitation and hygiene issues will not only help to contribute towards ensuring that India fulfills its promise to be Open Defecation Free (ODF) by 2019, but will also contribute in the global momentum towards ensuring all have access to clean water and sanitation by 2030. We need young ethical leaders to commit to the change they want to see - Shuruaat hoon main."

The video of this new campaign was released on YouTube on Monday. The video featuring Aamir Khan has the actor lending his voice to narrate the impactful monologue. The star encourages the youth of the country to be the change they want to see and take up activities that benefit society at large.

The Global Citizen Festival India will leverage the voices of Global Citizens to influence world leaders and decision makers to enact policy changes and commit significant resources to help solve some of the world's biggest challenges.

Thats nice but what about the Uri attacks? Before becoming global citizen he must become Indian citizen properly first.

What about the Uri attack? What does he need to do about it? What difference will be made by his writing 2 lines about it? How many celebrities commented on it? Why does he need to express what he feels about it?

If there is no need for Aamir to condemn it...why does Fawad need to condemn it being a foreigner?

I dont even think Fawad needs to condemn it..

Though I think few people want him to stop working in India..not condemn the attacks..I dont even agree with that if govt. doesnt mind giving him a work permit..what does he have to do with attacks?

Artists r soft targets..otherwise many common people get away with things without being asked a single question

When SRK just said intolerance people decided not to watch his movies and protested during Dilwale and Fan.
Even now just because a already ready movie of SRK has Pak girl people are against..
They are against because Pakistani actors did not condemn the attack.
Our own Superstars Aamir & Salman being Indians and working in India did not condemn but that is totally OK we will watch their moves and make it collect 400 crores.

This is not about u and me but in general.

I am a Modi bhakt..but I still think khans r unnecessarily targeted..the worst things about India r said by Salman..dont know how he gets away and SRK and Aamir get the flak..I didn't agree with what he said about increased intolerance in last 2 yrs..but the backlash made me rethink.

Its very very difficult for them to say anything without being misquoted or misunderstood.. mainly coz of their religion..

The same fans had no problem when Salman said he rejected Chak de because Pakistanis would be hurt, when he supported Yakub and said so many stuffs against India. All this will be forgotten by MNS, BNS , CNS & fans when Tubelight & TZH releases.

This makes me think Salman is related to Dawood and Dawood to the terrorists. This is the reason even MNS does not speak against him.

This is what baffles me..how does salman get away with worse deeds
