Hey

I have been wanting to start this discussion for a long time now

The crux of the story, of Aditya and Saniya's relationship and them not coming out with it is because she was a divorcee.

Something as simple as that!

Is it her fault that the relationship with a man she had previously married not work out?

Didn't Aditya know of it and then marry her? So then what's to hide cos' he is her present now.

Is it right to expect a women to 'stop living' cos she is divorced?

Don't many people have relationships that don't work out before marriage?

So my main question is, Is today's society shut to divorced women? Is it still a stigma? Is it right to expect a women to give up just cos' she is divorced?

Shruti

Yeah, according Indian society today even doesn't expect divorced women so easily.

But still times r now better than what were in past..It may take sum more time for the society to get out of it completely..

As for Sania i think it is Aditya's fault,he shud have informed KP n Sharda b4 hand rather marrying like this...

Acc. to society, Yes, Still woman is not allow to marry someone if she is divorce. People went to moon , sars, world is changed but Women's condition is stilllike 18th century. This is true.
Acc. to me, No, women have every right to marry , if she is divorced. It is not women's fault. It could be men or both of them's fault.
Mere Aapnee Show is not very advance. I mean they r in Banaras, not Mumbai. It would be different if they were living in Mumbai or Delhi.
But I agree that Sharda Pandey would understand Sania , don't no abt Kasi nath because ppl like tayee ji would taunt him. 😳

I disagree with the Bbay/Delhi thing!
People remain the same everywhere...it's a mindset!
Yes I agree people are more open abt things here but they are more accepting in the smaller devolped towns!

As I said, people marry when they have failed relationships right, so why not when divorced?

this is what the indian society is all about...many people still have the same thinking of looking down upon women..no matter how educated one becums wen it cums to women, people still restrict them..a divorced man marrying again is acceptable but divorced women isnt allowed.

women are still treated as objects who dont have feelings..
and its a pity how even today sum people refuse to change such a sick mindset....
