Avni dear - how did you manage to do this 😲

In the few days that your father is visiting Kashmir you slapped your Nani on the face and scared the daylights off your Dadi 🤣

You are so gutsy and forth right - I bet you got these traits from your Dadi 😉

I got attracted to this show because of avni and her boldness. I am really excited for the face of with her dadi but the scene where she slapped her nani really didn't go well with me. I don't why but I didn't like that she actually did that with her nani.

Yeah well actually she is lot like her grand mother it seems.Avni is not really scared for anyone.Her only weakness is her father it seems.Since she has craved from childhood his attention and time.Love her scenes with Asha as well.

Agreed, kids should not be shown slapping their grand parent.

But this scene was necessary to show that Asha is not only a poor disciplinarian but also clueless of Avni's mental anxiety over her father's ability to keep his promise.

The stress on Avni is more than she can handle - on top of that her Nani repeated taunts and confirms her fears that she has an absentee father who is incapable of keeping promises. Whilst her mother instead of diffusing her stress by assuring her that her father will keep his promise (or willing to call her father and confirm his attendance on her sports day) just kept silent implying that she (that is, Asha) too was not confident about her father attending her sports day!

True, she is not scared of anyone. But it also shows she has poor judgement (just like her Dadi).

More importantly - it shows Avni's high level of stress and that she is the adult in Asha and Avni's home.

Asha is forever in la la land dreaming of her prince charming - she is not aware of what is happening around her! It is Avni who is practical minded and alert to developing situations.
