Rakhi v/s Sanjeeda

Within twenty four hours jodi no 3 and 7 will be putting up their last Nach Baliye performance after which everything will be in their fans' hands. With the NB 3 title within their grasp we look at the strengths and weaknesses of the two ladies who have ruled the season so far…

Rakhi Sawant
Strengths

• Rakhi's technique and style has been almost unquestionable.
• Adept at performing live she is very confident on stage.
• With Abhishek's strong dancing skills the duo is lethal together.
• Her bindaas attitude has got her a lot of fans but the question is will they be enough?

Weakness
• Not as strong as Abhishek in dancing.
• Lacks professional training in dance.
• Sanjeeda's roles in TV soaps give her an edge over Rakhi.
• One to always speak her mind she has often found herself in a controversies which may affect her fan following.

Sanjeeda Sheikh
Strengths

• Extremely popular TV actress.
• Very strong in dance due to professional training.
• Darling of the judges
• Very calm and cool even under pressure.

Weakness
• Aamir is not as strong a dancer as her and that can sometimes hold back their acts.
• Due to her strong performances there is a lot of pressure on her to come up with a very strong act at the finale.
• Very shy and therefore people don't know much about her.
• Only popular among TV viewers as compared to Rakhi who has even Bollywood viewers amongst her fans.

No not completely.. this author Harshita Kohli seems more in favour of Rakhi and it reflects in the article... Sanjeeda's strenght 'darling of the judges' ? how come their darling always misses one point from David even when they give a flawless performance.. Vaibhavi too is strict with her... Sanjeeda deserved more marks from her in the solo round...many a times they missed perfect scores cuz of of one less point from one judge and they rarely give the reasons for the deduction. And i dont agree with the point that she is an extremely popular tv actress... She is not even playing the main lead in a tv show... and is def. not in the same bracket as the tulsis, parvatis and prerna's nor she had a fanbase as huge as prachi desai, smriti irani, mona singh, gauri pradhan, aamna sharif etc. If according to the author Sanjeeda is hugely popular then its def. post-NB3...most of the credit goes to her talent ,the way she carried herself and her performances in NB3.

Excellent post. 👏 Also she isn't as popular, she is playing a NEGETIVE character, people absolutely hate her in the show, so I don't think a negetive female character has a big fan club.

no not completely. Sanjeeda trained in what way ? I did nto find her extremely good. If trained should be extremely good. Expression is so so. Even sometimes movements of hands not that graceful. Only she has sweet face and smile. Actually the credit goes to the choreographer for the theme and choreography. Well they are executing some very well. Most so so.

but the fan following is community base and to some extent TV Soaps

sanjeeda is a much better dancer than rakhi. its not her fault if people find her cute and sweet... (GOD GIFTED) there is no rule ke goodlooking people can never be talented. well known choreographer farah khan, vabhaivi and the best female dancer of our film industry madhuri dixit would not have called a girl the best female dancer of nb3 just for looks. its unfair to take away the credit sanjeeda deserves only because she looks good to the eyes. that can at most be an added advantage not the only advantage

Sanjeeda is very talented and a much better dancer than Rakhi. One example is that, if we look at both of their first episode performances AS rocked the stage where RA might have gotten better score, but their performance was nothing compared to AS. On reason is that Rakhi is an item girl and Abhishek is a very good dancer; on the other hand sanjeeda was the only one who could dance, Aamir had never danced before in his life, but their performance was stunning. RA have more advantage than AS, they are both good dancers, but you know what AS are still more talented and better dancers than RA.

If Sanjeeda has been the 'darling of the judges'..so have Rakhi-Abhishek! They've always scored high with the judges..and so has their choreographer, Pratap Shetty.

In any case, thats besides the point...coz for the Finale, the jodi needs to become the 'darling of the audience' and thats where, I think, Aamir-Sanjeeda have a slight edge over Rakhi-Abhishek

I am sorry, but if Sanjeeda scored like 1 pt less than someone else in some round, SA have also scored 30 many a times when they didn't deserve it....it goes both ways!

Personally, Rakhi impressed me a whole lot more - her SOlo act was definitely better than Sanjeeda, the mask dance was simply-out-of-the-world, their cabaret number was much better done than SA.....to me, Sanjeeda has mostly come off as cute (girl next door), while Rakhi has slipped into a myriad of roles with ease....even their Bachhoo act was much better than SA!

But I am sure SA will win, for the audience loves them
