The unpredictably gloomy weather of Mumbai is taking a toll on our stars. A couple of days back Vidya Balan was diagnosed with dengue. While she is recovering at a rapid speed, another actress has faced the wrath of the harsh rains and cold winds.

An insider tells us that Kangana Ranaut is down with viral fever. The actress was busy was doing workshops and reading for Hansal Mehta's Simran but that has come to a halt. She's been asked to take complete bed rest for a few days. We hope for the actress's speedy recovery.

The actress is playing lead role of Prafull Patel in Hansal's directorial film. She recently went to the US after meeting the housekeepers of a hotel to get to the core of her role of a maid.
