Fawad will not be included in the ADHM promotions

Even though he is seen very little in the teaser and the songs of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Fawad Khan has done enough to make all the girls squeal in excitement of seeing the good looking actor once again on big screen. With the kind of fan following he has amassed in the last few months, we did expect Karan Johar to put him in the forefront of promotions. But that's not gonna happen. Karan Johar is not going to make Fawad Khan part of his promotions. Instead the promotions will only revolve around Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Okay, Fawad Khan fans, before you jump the gun and say Not fair!', hear the reason out first. The decision to not includeFawad Khan in the promotions has nothing to do with the the recent political developments. As per our sources, the real reason, okay, make that two, why Karan Johar doesn't want to include Fawad in the promotions, is both strategic and personal.

Let's reveal the personal reason first, and it happens to be very good news for both Fawad's family and his family. Apparently, Fawad Khans wife, Sadaf, is expecting their second child any time soon, and Fawad wants to be there for her. So quite understandably, Karan Johar gave him a reprieve from the hectic job of marketing the film.

The second reason is a more strategic one. Now Ranbir Kapoor is the main lead of the film, romancing both Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma. Fawad Khan has more of a supporting role, with a subplot linked to Anushka Sharma. However, his arresting presence in the trailer and the songs are making the attention divert from the fact that Ranbir is the lead of the film, while giving the impression that both have equal roles. Fawad is known to hijack other hero's spotlight, with just his screen presence and talent (check out what happened with Sidharth Malhotra in Kapoor & Sons). Karan Johar doesn't want that to happen to Ranbir, so he wants to promote Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as a Ranbir Kapoor-starrer. Therefore Fawad is sitting out of promoting his upcoming film.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is scheduled to release on October 28, clashing with Ajay Devgn's Shivaay.

I don't think the trailers are suggesting they have an equal role and I certainly don't think he is stealing the limelight.Outside IF, people are talking about ADHM as Ranbir aur Aishwarya wali film.😆
