They havent done a good job with his role after BB's role ended. I dont blame him for trying to get a better role somewhere else- after all an actor's dream to get good work.

God the lack of professional standards on these sites makes me so mad! They have not accurately described Purab's trajectory on the show. The show was not modelled on Pride and Prejudice. In another article about Arjit being on Big Boss 10, they say he was on the show for "nearly" 2 years when it has definitely been more than 2 years. I understand article writers can't be expected to know as much about the show's storyline as fans, but this kind of sloppiness seriously compromises credibility. If we didn't have numerous indications from all the actors' social media activities, I wouldn't be willing to accept such a poorly written article as confirmation of Arjit's departure. It looks like all they have done here is jumped on the buzz from those social media posts and slapped together an "article" based on assumptions and rumours.
