Edited.Shall we trend against Sony's partiality?

Guys, it's high time Sony stopped taking EKDV fans for granted. They keep axing this show to accommodate their favs. Let them treat us with some respect and the show with some fairness.

I don't buy the reasoning they don't have episodes because of Nikki's absence. It's just an excuse and one that'll appeal to our emotions. The PH and actors are doing good in managing her limited availability and am sure they produce 5 epis per week.

Axing the show every week is not acceptable.The flow is suffering as it is and general audience will move away & they can easily shut it down.

Let's fight for 5 epis as they promised in the promos.

Let's trend on Twitter & let the channel know how pissed people are. No point in cribbing here.

IMO, these MEs at the cost of EKDV is nothing short of corporate cannibalism from Sony's side. They get ad revenues for a show with marginally higher TRPs for extended time, while the discontinuity will cause EKDV's TRPs to fall further in the coming weeks.Already there are no promos & no repeats.When the disruption continues on weekly basis, the discontinuity will drive away un-invested audience and the show will shut .

PH needs to wake up and they shouldn't give away their slot for whatever reason. In other channels, if I remember, if one show has an ME and another show is not aired, next week the other gets ME and all are happy. There's some fairness atleast in allowing the contents to air at their given time slots.

I'm quite impressed with how the PH has handled the Fl's absence in a leads' centric track and all I'm asking is for them is to churn out 5 epis as promised in the promos.Daily soaps work because of their routine & too many interruption in the schedules is enough to drive away folks.

Sony doesn't even show the courtesy to inform normal viewers about not airing the show during the show or in any of their promos.Which is height of callousness, i've not seen in any other channel.

Sumo was there for me in the bathroom & in choti Suman y'day and it's still ShraMan track for me.How hard it is to put together few more scenes with the younger actors and churn out a 20mints content?

Atleast next week they may not sacrifice EKDV for another of their fav show.

The ph is taking it lying back is pretty surprising..every week missing one episode will lead to loss of revenue for ph...so there cud b some reason not known to us. why they not putting their foot down..more than what meets the eye..that's what I feel..

What's visible is though is that no episode bank with niki sick.. so probably ph themselves wants to go slow..its a pure guess though from my end...no official information...

Also Edkv ph show bade bhaiya... ki is getting the same treatment in the hands of other show at 8.30.slot ...there is a promo of the other shows maha epi again...so probably something that we don't know

Sony as a channel has the responsibility to air the show Mon-Fri as they've promoted.

If the PH can't meet their commitment for whatever reason Sony can find another PH or fund themselves.
I can't believe they don't have enough epis for a week. Cutting short one epi is not gonna help them anyway.It's gonna screw the flow and push away un-invested audience.

Niki's sickness is just a convenient excuse.
IF PH has some issue with channel they better sort it out, annoying viewers like this not gonna help them.

The show is amazing, and just due to some stupid ego problem between PH and channel or whatever it is that I don't know , why penalise the show?

I'm not a fan EK but love the way she runs her ship.

Bade Ache had Ram Kumar's BD all the time and in her Parichay,when Keerti had an accident, that was incorporated in the show and the actor was shown a swollen face for weeks. I'm not suggesting Nikki should shoot when she's not well.Just pointing out how PHs work thr' these kinda issues.
I wish people will stop giving Nikki's health as an excuse for the PH's incompetency & Channel's partiality. The real issue is something I don't know.I don't need to know.
