Too much has been said about yesterday's episode and yet I cannot resist myself... I had even being to understand why Dev didn't do anything post the engagement fiasco... That much support he truly had from me and yet, yesterday's episode was a mixed bag of emotions.

I look at the episode I have a smile on my face and I shut my laptop and I am left with a very uncomfortable feeling.

Lets look at what went right yesterday

1. Asha's maturity, the mother daughter conversation - Perfect

2. Bijoy's concern - He has agreed for Dev but he doesn't trust him neither has he accepted him

3. The proposal - Itself was traditional, simple and to the point

4. Finally the sisters teasing Sona - So wanted to see that when they found out about Dev and Sona

What went wrong

1. No interaction between Boses and Dev- He honked they said "Ja"... Neither they said " Use andhar toh bulao, " nor did he come and knock at the door.

2. Vicky Sona tashan was not required yesterday. It didn't add any flavor to the episode. Neither will the CVs build up on it or Dev hear it. So that really served no purpose

3. Neha's entry - Neither did Riya and Nikki react seeing Neha, neither did Neha react seeing Dev and Sona and here we thought in all the OS that we write that Neha will be a DevAkshi supporter

4. The Proposal - Come on... She said yes. She was sitting on his lap, A tight hug would have made more sense. A kiss, a cheek to cheek touch would seem a little more passionate. Lack of that made it seem like the emotions were missing. You guys just broke up and got back together, the guy just proposed, the girl just agreed... Thoda passion toh banta hai... I keep saying their SR also we shall see him cupping her face and we will have to assume the rest. Yesterday was just that. Passionless.

The everything else in Between :

1. From "How can you support him" to "Will baba Agree" - Just what was Sona's issue here. Just a minute back she said I don't even know what he means when he says he loves me and yet... So was her trust an issue or Bijoy's approval an issue

2. Asha convincing Bijoy - Sona ke saath uska Pyaar hai... - Really? Kahan? Is she seeing something clearly all of us are missing?

3. The patch up - He said thanks for giving me another chance. Then he suddenly left her and started walking away and turned and voila We have the flying hug. What was that expression as Dev walked away? Why did he seem more amused than in love or emotional?

4. Saurabh calling Dev - We did not see any Dev Saurabh interactions after Dev gave him a lift. Suddenly this bhaichara - Why this sudden outburst of love towards Dev?

5. Kangan nahi bandhan hai - What was Ishwari's reaction? Was she so touched when Sona called her Maa or was she so disturbed that she gets one more daughter to care less about.

Like I said... this episode was a perfect blend of the right , the wrong and everything else in between.

Tell me about it.

1. No interaction between Boses and Dev- He honked they said "Ja"... Neither they said " Use andhar toh bulao, " nor did he come and knock at the door.

I don't want to talk about this honking vs knocking scene. I vented out in the phone with you and I vented out in two other posts too and I am going to vent out some more in my OS. 😆

2. Vicky Sona tashan was not required yesterday. It didn't add any flavor to the episode. Neither will the CVs build up on it or Dev hear it. So that really served no purpose

Wish they had edited it out and slowed down the pace of the rest of the episode a little.

3. Neha's entry - Neither did Riya and Nikki react seeing Neha, neither did Neha react seeing Dev and Sona and here we thought in all the OS that we write that Neha will be a DevAkshi supporter

I did not understand Neha at all. My first thought had been - Ranveer se jhagda karke aayi hai kya?? 😕

4. The Proposal - Come one... Totally agree. If they had chopped off that Vicky scene, they could have given those few minutes to this scene. And ended it with the sisters pulling Sona away and Dev grinning at the tableau.

The everything else in Between :

1. From "How can you support him" to "Will baba Agree" - Just what was Sona's issue here. Just a minute back she said I don't even know what he means when he says he loves me and yet... So was her trust an issue or Bijoy's approval an issue

I don't know. The way that whole scene played out - it was like Bijoy was the only reason for their separation and now he has approved. Everything is honky dory.

2. Asha convincing Bijoy - Sona ke saath uska Pyaar hai... - Really? Kahan? Is she seeing something clearly all of us are missing?

I don't know. Because whatever we have seen is showing us the exact opposite.

3. The patch up - He said thanks for giving me another chance. Then he suddenly left her and started walking away and turned and voila We have the flying hug. What was that expression as Dev walked away? Why did he seem more amused than in love or emotional?

Again, I don't know. Other than the fact that the CVs wanted a flying hug.

4. Saurabh calling Dev - We did not see any Dev Saurabh interactions after Dev gave him a lift. Suddenly this bhaichara - Why this sudden outburst of love towards Dev?

I don't know. 😆

5. Kangan nahi bandhan hai - What was Ishwari's reaction? Was she so touched when Sona called her Maa or was she so disturbed that she gets one more daughter to care less about.

Don't hit me...but... I don't know. 😆 I guess the pace was so fast for us to catch any reaction or reason behind the reaction properly.

Like I said... this episode was a perfect blend of the right , the wrong and everything else in between.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry after watching yesterday's episode. The most annoying thing about yesterday's episode, apart from Shaheer's hair, was the pace. Too much happened all at once. Before I got time to process what Sonakshi's issue with Dev really is we had her worrying about bijoy. Then suddenly, Bijoy agreed. Before we know it, Dev is here honking away merrily. Then she runs out and we get the patch up. Which was weird. I dont have any other word for it. It was stupidly choreographed. They hug for one second then Dev suddenly rushes away God knows where, then stops and turns and kind of wonders what the hell just happened, before he has a chance to process, here comes the flying hug. Which also lasts all of one second.
Then came the proposal. Something the makers have been building up for quite some time. It seemed like an anti-climax to me. It was simple and sweet. A cliche. Which is fine. But after the amazing confession scene, I expected better. By better, I don't mean grand. I would've much rather preferred a heartfelt apology, sincere conversation, pouring out their heart's content to each other and mostly - just a really really passionate hug. It wasn't needed for frills. It is critical to the story line. They JUST got back together. If I was Dev/Sona I would not want to let go of my partner even for a second. Especially after all they've been through.

Coming to the Dixits, the whole scene at Dixit house could have been saved for today, instead concentrating on giving us a little more intimacy between two people who have been through an emotional rollercoaster recently, just got back together, and the guy just proposed.

Vicky-RR scene was unnecessary. Neha's expressions - unfathomable. Ishwari's - unfathomable again.

Like you said, I had a smile on my face while watching the episode, but as soon as I shut the laptop, I had an uncomfortable feeling. Something just didn't sit right.

When die-hard fanatics and analytics like us say I don't know for most of the stuff... says a lot about what is being shown.

You even went to the extent of supporting Dev and helping us understand why he suddenly asked Ishwari's permission for all his actions..

I prayed for a minute scene of Dev coming and saying sorry to the Boses Before Sona agrees... ( I guess I knew they wouldn't so kept asking you to write the OS)

If you think you are in for an apology from Dev... Even today he is there to just convey Momma's wishes... Apology has flown out of the window.

When he actually grabbed her had and told her chalo, I really just expected him to take her to Ishwari Mansion, Maa ne kaha bah le aaoo... so chalo...

Neha in totality seemed wasted yesterday.

This is a passionless love story... Its not like the leads are not comfortable or not capable of portraying passion. Their eyes speak volumes, they create magic even in their phone conversations... and yet today that was just missing.

The rest of the episode... Is still a big question mark... Sad because I have watched it multiple times to make sense of it... and yet each time I watched it, I ended up with a smile on my face and yet I am clueless... Am i smiling with them or at them?

@Malvika07 I started the let's get Shaheer to cut his hair post 2 months back.. When I look at the accident promo and the hero we have today, I can't stand to see him...

I am tempted to create and account , login into twitter, and just tag him and say... Look into the mirror my boy... just get a bloody haircut... and include all the makers... So annoyed I am with it.

Divya, people are already doing that on twitter!! I have seen so many people tagging Shaheer, Mamta Mam, Durjoy, even Erica and literally begging them to give Shaheer a haircut. But it's all falling on deaf ears. I have seen memes being made and what not. Still, if they don't take any action it says a lot about their attitude to our opinions about the track as well.

If they show the wedding happening with this pathetic look I swear to God I will stop watching😡

Honestly, the episode was a 70% of wrongs, 20% of rights and 10% of everything in between. Like how people here still haven't lost the positive outlook though.

Well that says a lot about us doesn't it... We don't hesitate in acknowledging the 20% and cling on to it like our sanity depended on it..
