KP's latest insta car selfie hints that he has bought a new BMW X5, perhaps replacing his Mercedes SUV. That came as a surprise to me as he's known as a Mercedes Benz enthusiast, remember he's got a Mercedes Benz sedan too. I guess KP's new interest on BMW grew from his YHM co-stars Anita and Divyanka. Last month Anita bought a BMW 3 series sedan and few months ago Divyanka bought a BMW 3 or 5 series sedan. This might have made him interested in buying a BMW as our friends' choices influence our choices too. 😳 Or he bought a BMW first which might have influenced the ladies to go for the same brand. 😳

Anita's got an Audi and a BMW sedan.

Aly's got Skoda Superb.

Don't know about the rest. 😆 KP's wife drives her own Honda City.

I didn't know about Aly's car. Skoda Superb was RKB's first car in YHM and I like it for that! I know about Ankita's modest way of living, her maternal family hails from Bhopal, my home town. Honda City is a very popular choice in Bhopal too.

Jokes apart, it's easy to get fooled on insta. It's definitely series 3 or 5. India's BMW plant in Chennai doesn't produce Alpina. Check on their websites http://www.bmw.in/en/all-models.html. If anyone wants to export an Alpina, it will cost more than 4 crores (350% duty on vehicle expports). You can buy an apartment with that price in the outskirts of Mumbai. Only top film stars and businessmen buy exported cars. And, income tax department will scrutinize your income, asset etc like a hawk for the rest of your life, if you buy a car paying 2-3 crore taxes. 😆

Local BMW, Mercedes plant made these luxury cars somewhat affordable. Else, a BMW X5 (as the TM says KP bought it) would cost around 4 crores instead of 70-80 lakh INR. We (my family) could afford a BMW 5 series within 50 lakh because of that plant facility.

Yes, seat covers. 😆 Seat covers or dash board made from Alpina manufacturer assembled in Chennai BMW plant contains Alpina logo but it's not an Alpina, it's BMW 3 series or 5 series ( like BMW M edition). A full fledged BMW Alpina from 60 to 80 lakh...lmao you got to be kidding me 😆

Insta is all about stupid speculations and you don't need google, try more specific search and go to BMW india site http://www.bmw.in/en/index.html

BMW Alpina is not very pricy, its around 80-100k USD which is 60-80 lakh INR but as I said BMW doesn't produce Alpina in India. So with 350% duty, it's gonna cost around 4 crores or more depending on horse power.

Alpina written behind is the logo I mentioned. You can have that logo with your 3 or 5 series BMW with custom made seat cover, dash board or any interior inside.

Yup that's the typical panoramic sunroof for bmw suvs. I liked his mercedes benz glc suv more. Mercedes is sheer class, always. Hope he won't change his mercedes benz sedan for bmw or another brand. 😆
