Irregular pacing has become a familiar trend in this serial. One or two episodes are damn slow, without taking the story forward in any way, and then almost everything happens in one go.
Yesterday's episode was a major YAWN!
The only plan to reach Roshan was to follow Balraj? Seriously? They have absolutely no back-up plan? It seemed like a great idea that they have a tracker to follow Balraj, But, that is a dead-end. And, absence of a back-up plan made it appear like they were wasting time.
Ditto for containing virus. It is more than three hours since they knew Roshan escaped with virus. But, no plan B which Siddharth, Mallick or Jai could come up with? No plan for 'What if virus infection happens'..no plan to keep doctors or hospitals on stand-by..no NOTHING!
Aditya asked the medical team to continue their research. That is about the only saving grace, so far, which paints our leader in a good light. He is the only one who showed some foresight...
Lack of a sense of urgency and the various plot loop-holes are seriously hurting this serial - which is unfortunate, because I love it so much.
Precap shows Jai and Aditya talking to Roshan. Vedant is trying to reach him, too. But, virus and locations list is with Vasu who has a plan of his own. LOL. Maybe it is a big twist.. but in hindsight it looks like the drama involving Roshan and the drug dealer were a waste of time..
The only thing ATU got without someone telling them about it is the identity of Dhruv and that he knows PM's girl friend. Big deal.
Showing ATU in forever 'reaction' mode instead of thinking or planning ahead is seriously showing our government agency's preparedness to handle a crisis in a damn poor light.
Naina Singhania might be cruel but she had more counter-strategies to save the government than ATU has to save the country.
The only saving grace is the brave soldiers. Hats off to them.
On second thought -- Maybe that is what Season 2 is trying to show.
Bureaucracy sucks with a bunch of clueless and incompetent leaders, who can only react to a crisis.
It is our brave soldiers who save the day for us with their courage and sacrifice - they are the unsung heroes.
