If mr Shravan Malhotra hates her self respect mantra so much he should just steer clear of her. Who the hell is he to give sumo lessons( Maine usse sabak sikhaane ke liye shaadi ki papa ). Surely marriage is a lifetime commitment and if u can't abide with a persons attitude then u are supposed to just stay away ... However stupid sumos self respect gaana is , no girl deserves this rude treatment and this sham of a marriage( God knows how Shravan plans to live with a person who he apparently hates and is rude all the time, how does he ever plan to consummate such a marriage whr bride and groom can't see eye to eye) 😭 . He should just leave her alone !!!! And sumo ... My girl .. U r confused.. This man has insulted u in worst possible ways time and again ( all public insults ) and u r always ready to forget , forgive ( without his ever saying sorry ), move on and again start dreaming of ur future together .. Uff .. U should have kicked him long back ..may be then he wud have understood ur self respect .. And last but not least .. Why didn't u just threw the marriage papers on his face and leave him high and dry in court . That wud have surely wiped the smirk off his face and preserved ur self respect 😡 . Why did u give him all rights over yourself so that he does this time and again.. Why .. Girl why?????

So right you are! But does Suman really have a choice? If she had chosen to walk away from the court marriage she would have been dis-honoring her promise to her family. It's not really her choice but she has to abide by it for really, she has no choice or in another context, this is what she chose long ago and now she must live by it.
Fact is - Suman is aware of her choices, she has had to make a tough one while Shravan isn't aware of his choices and is having his made for him, and is complying unknowingly.
Life is nothing but a sum total of our choices, we have to make them and we have to live with them. Suman has chosen to live through her family while Shravan has chosen to put blind faith in his father. Both have together burned the bridge they were standing on. Each has to want to rebuild the bridge and walk across it - together.

On a side note, ultimately every show on TV becomes a love story. If the so-called chemistry between the leads is liked by the audience and it gives them enough "feels", the story can go to blazes.
Most male leads are MCPs and the females are pretty, sacrificial lambs. This one turned out to be no different.
If you are willing to suspend disbelief and switch your mind on to the eye-sex channel, you will enjoy it.

Our suman is not a sacrificial lamb...ok..she knows all the hardship that shravan has went through... She knows that its not purely shravan's fault to be a women hater...
I just hope that after marriage shravan will be able to understand suman
better and may eventually findout his father's misunderstanding about his wife and his selfishness towards his son...and then he will sort thing with his mother...and of coarse live a way better life with suman than he will be living by not marrying suman..

Dear Poppinns,
You need to switch to the eye-sex channel to be able to view it. Clearly your rational, logical brain is resisting that😆
Shravan not only needs a shrink, he needs intense therapy - the kind that Jason Bourne received to make him forget his entire past life.
Suman could also use a shrink but more than that she needs some yoga lessons. It'll help strengthen her spine and hold her head up a bit.

I agree, Shravan was so rude in his decision on court marriage.
But realize, not only the bride, but the groom will also have a dream about own marriage
Why always people talks only about girl's dreams about marriage?
When we consider both men & women as equal, we should consider their feelings also without partiality
Didn't Shravan talk with her about, why he wants a high profile wedding?
Sharing marriage expense is a common thing nowadays.
Many places, in reality I saw groom people demanding the marriage arrangements from bride family
Here sumo was stubborn as, she was going to marry a man whom she knows earlier, who respects Nanu's decision, & won't say anything against it.
Here sumo was not ready to accept any of their wishes..
It was not only her marriage, but his too..
If she got disappointment from it, he too was not happy with it.
Both were not ready to give up their ego, that is why the marriage ended up like this.
Both deserves to get blame equally.
She didn't consider his & his family's feelings
Same way, he too didn't consider her feelings..
A tit for tat...
That is all...
