Do you agree with Tum Bin story ending? - Page 3

I didn't see him drinking on that night - might be wrong but he wasn't shown drunk at least. When he saw the girl coming obviously he had a impulsive reaction to turn the car & unfortunately there was someone at the other side of the water pipe.

Should he have turned himself in? Yes probably but he was human - he was Human throughout the movie. When the accident happened, he was not in his senses and his friend saved him from getting caught. But he was shown so guilty throughout the movie & he fell for Pia without even trying. It just happened and you could feel his pain for not being able to do anything because if he told her one truth, he would have to tell her the other bitter truth.

He could have lived a happy life with Pia when she confessed her love but again, he was so torn that he couldn't be with her without telling her everything. It was so beautifully shown! Ultimately when the police dude did take him, he didn't retaliate whatsoever. If he had to go to jail for this then he did.

He should have called the police and confessed his crime. I agree that he did repent for his mistake but it took a life and leaving the punishment on the family makes it illogical. He should have been punished as per the law.

Even i was thinking about this . This crime is not compoubdable at all, i wish they would hv shown him after serving a sentence of 3-4 years in jail and thn helping family and all. that would hv made more impact
Still i loved this movie.
P.s. this movie makes us think that imprisonment is not good punishment in case of sm individuals, they deserve a chance to rectify their mistakes other way.

shekhar was not drunk infact he doesn't drink at all nor driving recklessly...a small kid waa chasing her dog on the road...to save her...his car accidentally hit the water pipe...water was flowing like waterfall...his windscreen was drenching..he could not see anything and the car accidentally hit amar...it was an accident...the only time shekar was drunk when the officer ask him to drink to heal his pain...he got drunk and the accident happen to him

coming to the topic...he tried to save amar but he died on the spot...shekhar went into a shock...his friend bosco was the one who never show humanity in the fear of police..shekhar was in deep shock...when he realise his sense...instead of surrendering himself to the police...he went to canada to just tell the truth to amar's family and leave his destiny in their hands...whatever punishment they want to give him..he is fine with it...he wanted to lessen the burden of guilt in his soul

falling in love with piya just happened...love can't be planned..love just happens and thats what happen to shekhar-piya...he loved piya but never confess his love to her nor wanted her in his life as he knows she was amar's fiancee and the guilt in him was killing him as he knows if piya knows the truth..she will hate him...he will loose a family's love which he has been yearning for all his life...he is an orphan and more than piya...he loved the familly...

even when the police officer caught him...he did not run away...but surrender himself and told him the truth

closing the case...the police officer realise that shekhar saved a family from shattering...thus he closed the case as the family needs him more than the law...

this movie depicts if you realise your mistake and rectify it...even god will forgive you
