i know it's crazy,

what does BR eat and drink?

He is scared of water,

When human soul possesses an animal and takes control of animal then it is Called as BR.

So the animal may require food .

I think he doesn't need food as he has surpassed all this basic needs like food water shelter clothes as they doesn't matter after his death...he just needs revenge😊

Br when was a human he died in hands of the gorilla so he is no longer human being. After connecting his soul with the animal he became a brahmrakshas. Since food, shelter and clothes are necessities of a human being it no longer be a part of Br list. Now there is only word in his list which exists and that is revenge.

All living things need sustainance, so there must be something that sustains him, he can't live on revenge, that is just his REASON fir being

Anything available in the forest, jadi booti, pashu pakshi. Natural diet you see. That's why he is so huge, his hair long and shining, big nails.

But he is no longer alive right. He was alive when he was a human being but post being dead he has some what become a ghost. About that animal then even as you said in your post the dead human being has got a control over the animal which controls its wants. So the animal can do nothing against the wish of the person who controls him.
