AT NIGHT

JALAL'S MONOLOGUE

what should I say? I have never thought to be married. To be a husband to some girl. But here I am a responcible husband to jodha. Before this I used to ignore girls and topics about marriege but see, I am married. But not only married , but married to a girl I love. Now this you can call destiny. The persone never know what is love, is mdly in love with his wife.'

He looked up towards the upper bunk where only a pair of milky white legs wearing anklets visible. The red nailpolish brings a beautiful essence in this.

I know I am a failiur in love cz sjh didn't love me. But still why don't know I feel she have some feelings towards me. Or else she never brings tiffin to my office, not only for me but for all my colleaegues also, if she didn't have any feeling for me she didn't get jelouse seee ruqaiyaa with me. if she didn't have any feeling for me, she never told me those word letting her heart out that night. if she didn't have any feeling for me she never reply me passionate kisses that morning. If its come out to be true, god, I will be the happiest person. If I hav done any good work please give me my jodha. Give me my love to have a beautiful life with her.'

I know its weird, cz I used to think I don't need anyne inmy life, but now its impossible to live without her. Now I can clearly understand why people said to live a happy life we all me need a woman beside us, who will stand for us in every situation. I feel she is the one who could be my side all my life. I can see sincearity and care towards me and my family. But I also want her love. If this happened my life will be a bliss.'

Jalal closed his eyes looking at that milky feet of the lady he loved madly.

i made many mistakes, still this man accaets me. i didn't let him touch me, yet it was his right. still he didn't say anything. he helps me in all my situation. i never thought to have a person like him. selfless and caring. i was a fool to push hm away. he is a gem and now i cant afford to loose him. i cant happened to loose myhusband. my jalal.'

she got shy by thinking him as only her. she peep out her head an look down. there jalal peacefully sleeping on his back facing the window.

looking at him, i know jalal you love me. your every jesture told me that. that morning when i firsttime come to know how much passion you have fo me i started loving you. yes jalal i am started to love yu. you every move make my heart go wild for you. whuy not i fall for you.you are a person whom every girl wish. and i am not any speacial. but icant tell you know. i am waiting for the right time. i know youwant me as youwife. but blve me, evene i want t be your wife. and i promise in this HM you will get your will all for you. i prome. i love ou jalal...i love you..." a slight tear pass away from her eys. She close her eyes looking athis face.

NEXT MORNING

jodha New Jalpaiguri is about ot come. Did you pack all your staffs?"

"yes, can you plase check the upper seat if I have left soemthing.."

Jalal climed up the bunk and saw something. He smile and pick the thing.

"jodha did you forget something?"

"I don't think so. Everything I packed. Tour bag, my bad out tiffin bags. Everything is in place.

Jalal kept his palm on he lips. "you ae too talkative jodha. You forget this." He open his palm and she saw her anklet. "can I?"

Jodha got shy first his touh on herlips, then her payal...she sat on the seat. Where jalal sat besid her, took her feet and kept it in his lap.

"no please don't do this. A husband does not touch his wife's feet please."

"I promise I will not do that again but now I want to wear u this. And you cant deny me, as its only my right."

Jodha have ters in her eyes. He claimed her as his. He claimed his rights on her for the first time.

Jalal make jodha wear her anklet, by doing this her feet come to feel his skin. Her nerves got shiver.

Soon stantion came. Jalal helps jodha to come out of the compartment. They headed out of the station to search for a jeep towards Darjeeling.

There many drivers having jeeps beside them souting "darjeeling...kalimpong...ghoom...Kurshiyong...abhi niklega...abhi niklega..." And calling for passengers. Jalal headed towards a boy who were shouting and asked,

"bhyaiyaa, darjeling jana hai. Jayenge?"

"kyu nahi jayenge, jane ke lie hi to chilla rahe hai."

Jalal give a wird expression while jodha want to hide her laugh.

"kitne log hai??"

"2 log"

"hmm... 120/- per head."

"Ok, luggege uthalo bade wale."

Jodha was beside jalal when they were fixing the price. When the driver bend down to pull the luggege, jodha push jalal asside and headed towards the driver.

"its too much!! 120/- per head!! Nahi milega"

"No madam, its too less I could say."

"no, 120/ is too much u want. We will give 100 rs."

"no mada I cant take it. Its 120/- only for you as I think you two are honeymoon couple."

Jodha blushed thinking about the word honeymoon. Jalal too a bit embarres.

"hooneymoon ho ya teavel. I will give 100/- that's it."

"no mam. You got wrong. Its 3nd hrs journey from here. So I have to say 120 atleast."

Jalal shied. All womens have a worrior inside her when its come to burgaining. They actually turn out to be blood succker when they cant fix the product price as their wish. Today it confermed that his love has also this quality inside her. He went to her and try to calm her as she still arguing with the driver for jeep fare.

"jodha!!jodha!! calm down dear!! Jalal try to calm her down. "its ok. 120 rs is perfect. You don't have to burgain." Looking towards the driver.

"you please put the luggege on." Jalal instructed the driver. He put the suitcases on the roof of the car.

While sitting on the vbackseat jodha murmurred, "yes you are right agar ap din ba din kanjoos ho gaye to mera kya hoga? Shopping kaise karungi main... or jab mujhe gifts chahiye hoga to? Itni kanjoosi achi nhi hai. Agar HM ke start me hi itni kanjoosi karne lage to ho gaya mera HM!! Kamre ke andar bhi kanjoosi ki to inhe chodungi nahi..."

Jalal was buffled and shoocked with her words. "what does she mean kamre ke andar kanjoosi?? Agar jo main soch rah hu who hai to tumhari sovh ko ghalat to sabit karna hi padega is Hm me. Don't worry. I will be kanjoos on our Honeymoon." He thought mischiviously.

A tata sumo having Jalal, jodha and five other passengers heading towards kurseong. Outside scenarys are changing every turn by turn. Clouds are coming up from down hillside. Changing scenarys and peoples are indicating their jourey towards a unknown destination.

Jodha was sitting beside the window. Watching the besutiful scenary outside. Cold wind blowing by the speed of the car.jalal was sitting beside her. Large trees pine forests are sliding backside through the window. Cool breeza and soothng envoronment are creating a new sensation within this HM couple.

"ammijaan was right this place is sooo romantic. Hope this time will flow with our love and closeness. Hope I could tell my heart out to him. She though looking at jalal.

"kya hua? Kya dekh rahi ho?

"you are really handsome." Jodha said looking at him ina dreamy look.

"kyaaa??"

Jodha bit her tongue understanding her words. Jalal shocked but there is a mischivious smirk on his lips. Is she really think that??, he thought.

Sghe move her face towards the window again.

"what did you just said.??" Jalals aid while lifting his one eyebrow and having a mischivious smile.

"no nothing..." she couldn't think or tell anything else. She was every much embaressed just because the words which were in her heart coming on her lips. She think to zip up her mouth.

Beside the Rabindra Sarovar lake, in a bench there are two soulslooking into the water. Feeling calm and scerene. Mirza held her shoulder and grip it tightly on his chest. Shivani who was having her heard on his chest gabbed his waist more tightly. The more they come close the more their thirst to be with each other arms increases.

Its been 4 months they have told each other their feelings. But till now the sensession betweent two didn't decrease. He still remember the day when he saw her for the first time. Wearing a yellow salwar kamiz, laughing with her friends, munching chips. Her eyes twinkling with mischivious, her pink lip gloss wearing eating chips and samosas one by another. Her silver dazzling jhumkas shinning in the sunlight. His eys got stuck on that simple beauty. His heart start to beat on her laughter. That day first and the inal time Mirza Muhammad gave his wicket to her.

From that day ot next two weeks his feeling for her increased when ever he saw her. Being a shy guy towards girls he cant say his feeeling towards Shivani. Only a few things he know that she is a student of 1^st yr student of history department. Her name shivani and from her name he know she is a hindu girl. But afterall its love, which can never see any hurdles.

It was the annual function of their college. All ladies should wear saree and every Gents should wear kurta Payjama. That day itself. Mirza thaought to say his heart out to shivani. He saw shivani as deliigates maintaing the green room. He grabbed her arm and drag her towards a corner.
