Exams hai. Tension aur padhai mein bhul gayi :(

btw Onam is a festival observd in Kerala n other parts. I dont know much abt it but in sum buks I had read that people go for boat racing events which are organisd on that day.

Like Sahas said its a festival of Kerala..

The story behind it is that Mahabali, a very good king who ruled here ages ago was sent away because he was an 'asura' king ( dnt know what to call that in english😆) But since he was a very very good leader he was allowed to come back every year to see how his subjects are doing. We celebrate this as onam.

We have flower carpets, wear traditionals and have other games and stuff as part of it.
