That might be happening now, because as of now story is Anika focused but there is no problem in changing the story line, if Surabhi Jyoi decides to join the cast and Gul wants her she can easily change the storyline a bit and just like now Saumya is a second lead to Anika, Anika would become a second lead to Mallika. That is not a very difficult task and anyhow there is nothing about story change as at least as per the CVs, the Production Houses and the channel all the three leads are equally important so they might easily shift the focus from one lead to another

I mean we don't even know what the actual script is, there can a possibility that the CVs had planned to take one pair at a time and once that pair is established the focus shifts to the other. (You never know once Shivika is done, the focus entirely falls of Rumya and then Anika becomes second fiddle to Saumya, I am not telling that would happen, but you can not say that there is no chance for it or that this will be a shift in the storyline, probably that WAS he plan)

Anyhow since it has been stated multiple times Surabhi Jyoti is just a cameo there is no point discussing this

I am saying the same thing that things will have to change if SJ is casted opposite Om

SJ will not accept an Ishaana type of role where she is shown for 2 minutes every week .She will want to be the female lead and nothing less so more than script CV's attitude will need a change.

They will need to accept that Om is a lead like Shivaay and his story needs to equally important as Shivaay and needs equal screen time.

Bold:Personally,no i dont think that is the case until TRP's force them to change things

It was just something she could connect with, as she is frustrated with her would be mother in law's domination, she connected the same with riddhima's domination

See as per the CVs statement and the channel statement Om is as much a lead as Shivaaye, (we don't feel so watching the show is a different thing) but everyone including Gul, Nakul and others repeatedly say that the story is of three brothers and their stories, so there is a high probability that they had planned equal importance for all in the larger storyline and then thought of taking a pair at a time, since three love stories at a time would overburden and confuse the audience, and if that theory is true (I give this theory a 20% chance) then now that slowly Shivika pairing is nearly completed, the next focus would be Om and Shivika would have an appearance like IshKara had till now. Not equal SS as Shivaaye but more than him (like currently Shivaaye is having more SS than Omkara and Rudra), and later the same will happen with Rudra(I am not saying this will happen but the possibility of this proposed storyline by the CVs could not be ignored), so now since Om's track will start we might easily have the upperhand, SJ could join it, but I personally don't want her to join because I hate the idea of Shivaaye's ex being Om's current that might spoil relation

@Bold: TRPs drop might lead to the original storyline, and I am not talking of that, I am saying that this might have been the actual storyline in the minds of the CVs since they are repeatedly focusing that the three brothers story

Personally i would love for a character like Mallika to be opposite Om since i always wanted a rich modern girl for him.It would have been a nice irony that Shivaay who cares for family name falls for some one who doesn't have one and Om who doesn't care falls for some one who has one.

In any case back to the topic you and i are saying the same thing that Om's story or love story will need to get importance like Shivaay's is getting now for SJ to join or else it wont happen.

Only thing you probably think this was always CV's plan to give importance to all brother's stories at some point of time and i am saying that is not the case.

Personally I would hate Mallika to be paired with Om, I would have been fine if there was a business woman, but Mallika is not anything of that sort, the girl is very loud and over expressive, and someone who runs away from the situation rather than facing it

Now on this topic, for me as of now Om or Rudra are not even the parallel leads, they are at max essential supporting cast, but still the channel and the entire cast and crew are repeatedly saying that is about the three brothers who are "Mind Body and Soul"

In the show well you might disagree, but Omkara is the most explored character, Shivaaye on the other hand has become repetitive (we knew that he can do anything for his brothers, he is a coconut who treats outside world as trash and has some strained relation with his parents in episode 4-5 and still we know only that about him), yes we know about his love life and story (I hope that they will explore his personal side during the Vanvaas track) because as of now only his story has begun

Now coming to Anika, may be Shivaaye is the central character but I don't find Anika at all a central character, she is as much a support to Shivaaye as Om or Rudra are (at least for me), yes she is definitely the most important female, but her importance in the show is nothing more than Om or Rudra in fact even now it is much less than them, she has no role excluding her love track

And since they are repeatedly saying that the story is for three brothers, you can not outright reject their claim and consider it to be false. I am saying that since despite the CVs and channel saying that the story is of three brothers, the story is currently revolving around one brother (only the love story and not the actual track), it is quite obvious that later it will revolve around the others, at that time Om or Rudra will take the center stage and the other two will the supports like currently Om and Rudra are.

However as we know people are loving Shivika a lot, so if when the story shifts its focus to Om and his love, maybe then the TRPs would fall, if that happens then definitely they will come back Shivika, but that is a different scenario

I am just saying that simply watching the show it is quite apparent that once Shivika is done, Om and his love will take the center stage and then Rudra and Saumya, once all the love stores are done we will get the actual Vanvaas track or the tracks about the Oberoi dirty secrets at least this is what the CVs seem to have planned, they will definitely change their idea if TRPs drop


Since the day 1 (rather the promo days) I have been saying that Shivaaye is the main lead, and he would be the main lead in the Vanvaas track or the actual Oberoi past track, and Om Rudra would be his support then (maybe they will become parallel leads then as you said), but during the time of Om and Rudra love story, Shivaaye will definitely take a side (if not back) seat

If not then give me one reason on why would the CVs be lying about the story being of three brothers and not a love story as they are currently showing
