Hey!

From the new lot and those currently acting, who do you think has the best script sense?

Who knows their story well and understands what will connect with the audience?

Currently, it's Alia, Varun, Salman, Deepika.

Who else?

For me, this term has always been confusing.😆
The way I see it, good script sense can mean understanding yourself very well, and picking movies that will highlight your strengths and showcase your talent in a good light. Like Ranbir Kapoor for example. No matter how badly his films do, his acting is never questioned.

Another way of looking at script sense is understanding what the audience will like and connect with. Probably to get you commercial success and a reputation as a bankable star. Here I would say Varun Dhawan. Katrina had it earlier but seems to have lost it now.

Script sense would be to see the potential in a movie rather than good movies itself. I would then say it would be Shraddha, Varun and Alia from the new lot. Again only in terms of scoring at BO.

do you believe choosing right scripts make one sucessful?
I dont

reason.
Its majorly luck.

if suppose a good actor is not offered the top 5 directors awesome movies will he be able to show case his talent?

Shining in film industry is mostly about kismat. unlike other fields in private job, govt job, business...the person still can work hard and improve and rise up. But in film industry.its not the case.

come on film making is very tough and expensive, nobody makes movies to make it flop. But suppose if audience didnt like your story, which is your hard work, what will you do? Its totally gamble,. Hardwork is 40 % but luck requirement is 60 % . That is why sometimes bad scripts become hits and good one fails ,

Abhay deol used to do niche serious cinema with anurag kashyap initially. Now anurag kashyap is signing big stars for his off beat good scripts. so what does a good actor like abhay do? is it his fault he is not offered good scripts? yes his not so shining luck.

if shilpa shetty with her good figure is offered a glamorous role opposite salman, even she can do , but will she get? No.

I arely see actors choosing scripts as per their acting ability or as per the stories they would like to act in. It's only the money factor that matters for them while in case of new actors, they chose whatever comes their way and hence I wouldn't judge the new actors.

Moreover, the viewers don't make every good film a hit and hence even if an actor chooses a script that's good according to him or he would like to act in and watch as a viewer, the movie gets rejected badly Eg: Lootera, Swades were good movies but failed.

I see script sense as choosing good movies with artistic expression, entertainment and coherence. One person that has been very consistent minus Dhoom has been Aamir.
