I too felt cheated with the truth swap storyline...there so many things they could have done or play around with but have chose not to. For instance they should have included:
- Shashwat and Tulsi scene, two people who knew each other but are not in good terms due to Saras so it would be good to to see how they felt about raising one another child or offer a closure on their relation
- should have included a scene to explore around Pavitra's feelings toward aaru her own blood over aryan her nurtured child ...how does she feel about raising a devasdi child or knowing her own child was raised by the clan who she consider beneath her...how will she look at aryan after lnowing the truth about his identity
- pavitra and Tulsi scene would be preferable too...will they exchange the children back? Pavitra adore aryan for being the heir of their family. Ye motehr and son had a good bond..he was her world not even Gayu came close back then whereas tulsi adore aaru more than anything so will the mothers be attempted to exchange the children again to keep their nutured child or be a war with one another to keep both children.
- Tulsi once said to Kumu and arayn that she could never forget the child who she raised with her heart and soul and when PvR express his dislike on Pavitra wanting to keep aaru with them..,she very passionately yell out..'Abhasaab, I gave birth to her' she couldn't let go of the child she gave birth to...does that mean she consider her own bloosline superior or did she develop some strong feeling during pregnancy that she thought that baby was arayn that why she remain close to him but when she find out the truth...she kept her real birth child. What does that mean...whereas rulsi couldn't forgwt the child she raised, the child who motivate her to live when she had no one. That should been explored more deeply...will both mothers change their minds or will become more closer to aryan after claming down
- Tulsi vs Kumu shoidl have been included Kumu had deliberately kept her true child away and as a consequence she couldn't forget the child who she raised but wasn't hers nor she could find that instant maternal feeling for her true child...giving her true child to their enemy family ...I would expect tulsi to be full of rage to Kumu.
So many things that should been included but was amiss

I echo you 👏
For me, like for many KD fans, apart from AaRa, Tulsi & Aru's bond was the essence of the show.
They showed the baby swap revelation beautifully, but ruined the consequences. The build up was non existent. First of all I wanted to see Pavithra squirm after knowing the baby swap truth. I wanted to see her tears, guilt & desperation in trying to make things right with Aru & Aru not giving her bhaav/ being weirded out .
This we did not get. They could have spent a month on this & then revealed the swap to the entire family.
Further, Tulsi & Aru's dynamics post reveal could have been shown. We got solo scenes of both saying that nothing had changed between them. But it would have been awesome to see them interacting with each other. You know what would have been more interesting?
To see AaRa moving into Krishna niwas as a married couple & having Aryan's grahpravesh rather than Aru's 😆
I also wanted a better Aaba-Aryan & Aryan-Pav show down. How would the in-character Aabasaheb treat Aryan? With hate initially sure. But would he also see a missed opportunity since he no longer has a male heir. And Pav? We never got any Aryan Shashwat Pavitra scenes
Coming to AaRa, okay we got a beautiful wedding scene in mandir. But again the CVs followed it up with crap storyline. Why couldn't we have had more of AaRa trying to figure out their new identities together & trying to manoeuvre through the new relationships together? They could have shown some scenes like some heirloom which Aryan used to carelessly throw about & now they realise it belongs actually to Aru & the tension that prevails after that. They could have shown a scene in which AaRa wish that the truth had never come out. The possibilities are endless!
Coming to Kumu - this was such a great character. Again the possibilities are endless with her! From the beginning she was sort of a Krishna character with all the "doris" of all relationships in her hand. From the start she was plotting for AaRa since she always wanted Aabasaheb to die from shock that his grand daughter was married into a Devdasi family. But I still believe the old Kumu had a soft spot for Aru. She loved to manipulate the girl but she was obsessed with her merely because she was PVR's poti.
How I wish the Kumu-Aru relationship could also have been explored into something good: Kumu continuing to manipulate Aru but with a good purpose vis a vis Krishna driving Arjun's chariot. A
And then repenting badly
Coming next to overall plot - they needed to retain the KD storyline because that's what was unique about KD. They could have shown post swap reveal, Aryan becoming King & as per customs egged on by the village crowd & Kumu, entitled to have Aru as his KD & the ensuing chaos & AaRa manoeuvring through that jungle.
So many cool possibilities

I agree with your points...this is what I meant that there is so many ways the makers could gone with the truth swap plot but they have messed everything around that there no going back and no logic exist in the story. I couldn't believe that there hadnt been at least one proper scene with aryan and his parents! It's doesn't make sense, Pavitra was more of a mother to aryan than to any of her other children. One word from her...he would obey as a dutiful son of his mother...all she had do was to tell him to marry Aaru and he would have done it. That too happily as he love aaru, the duaghter of Pavitra, who was also his mother who had full authority over him. Not even Kumu could stop him from obeying his mother who raised him. And more importantly Pavitra in her true character mode would have done that. She would have order aryan to marry her daughter to prevent her life from being spoiled and aryan in his true characater mode would have brought his nuture family back to the mansion in their rightful place once he had found out that PvR wasn't the one who shot tulsi, but the makers have deliberately limit and avoid aryan having any scenes with Pavitra or any other Rao members as they don't want that to happen and want to prolong this silly Shravnai drama! Kumu used to so clever and now to see her becoming dumb was disappointing and unbearable too. At the moment pvr is only likeable character. Aru is so irritating and not her ususal self and aryan is not doing anything to prove his innocence this is equally annoying. But less compared to aaru. I think people are only watching or reading the LUs is due to Shrana. Their unique chemistry as AaRa continue to persuade me to come here and check the updates to see and hope if the makers have come to their senses! This Shravani track is th worse one and make no sense at all.
