Draupadi is described in Mahabharat as a dark skinned women and no popular adaptations yet have cast her as such. Forget Draupadi, even Krishna is not cast as someone dark skinned.
So much for adhering to epics and imbibing values.
The only adaptation that has cast a dark skinned woman is Draupadi on DD National.
