I've probably said this like a million times, but Ishana and Priyanka are definitely my most favorite characters! And of course, by being my favorite characters, they are cursed to have zero screen space on this show... Moving on, I love Ishana because she's one of the first female leads that I've seen on Indian Television who has some gray shades here and there. Now, I know that the writers completely effed up her character, and I really hope they have a nice storyline prepared for her, but I just have a soft spot for flawed characters and underdogs, hence Prinku is also my fave, and I really think that Ishana has a lot of potential if the writers can manage to do her character justice.
Priyanka I really like because for me she's just very relatable. She's so meek and timid, and she feels all this pressure from her family, like she has a certain standard to live up to and she doesn't think that she can live up to that. Even today, it's like brothers forgot that there is in fact another girl in the house, their own freaking sister. I mean, no wonder the poor girl has self-esteem issues! I really want to see some nice tracks with her, and I want to become more comfortable in her own skin, and I want her to have friends and find love. I really look forward to seeing her become a strong, confident young woman. And honestly, I just find her to be so refreshing because all the little sisters of male leads in the past have been such materialistic brats, and here you have Priyanka, who seems like any random person who goes to school with me, and that's what I love about her!
