Certainly people have time to change nose rings when going out in modern outfits if not every time. Who the fk wears nose ring with every dress?
People with their noses pierced duh. Before you go on about women who only wear Indian clothes and not western, let me tell you about something I have seen with my own eyes. Nose piercings are not that rare with evangelical christian women in the US, especially white and these are super religious christian women who wear "western" clothes because they are from the west. They have mostly a very small diamond stud and you have to stand close to them to actually see it. One of my mom's friends who is white had a stroke and had to have her piercing taken out. Her hole closed, as soon as she recovered, one of the first things she did was to have her nose re-pierced. Said it gave her a feeling of being back to her old self. So in my experience, nose piercings are not that rare even with western women who routine only wear "western" clothes as in jeans, boots, skirts, leggings, stilletoes and obviously they don't change it out each time or feel weird with what they wear. It is part of their every day jewelry. So how can you expect a desi woman who is from this culture like Anu plays to feel weird about wearing a nose ring everyday ? It's part of her everyday attire.
