My Hats-Off to Baazigar Sandhya !

Knowing that the soap opera loving Prachi (read Bani) fans who are swamping this forum and will kill such a topic instantly (its for only Sandy fans), I will still dare to say that MY HATS OFF TO SANDHYA.

The result was always a foregone conclusing once Prachi was brought back on the show the way she was and the reasons I had already mentioned in my previous topic :

I always knew that the popularity of Bani and the regional factor of Gujurat will be too much for Sandy to handle. I stayed away for the past 2-3 days from the forum since I know the volatility will be high.

My sincere congrats to Sandhya for the SPIRIT and CHARACTER which she has shown through out the show. Women like her make me proud to be a women and give me hope that things will change for the better in India (although slowly).

For me Sandhya is BAAZIGAR, just like SRK had made the lines famous " Haar ke jitne wale ko Bazigar kehte hain". There is no better example of that then you Sandhya. I know she did not win, but when she entered the show she hardly had any fans (i and many like me were PD fans when the show began) and now when the show is over, she has won millions of admirers. Sandhya has gained so much respect of colleagues and people in general. The standing ovation, the judges comments and the reaction / comments of other celebs on the show are a testimony to your determination and spirit of Life.

It was sad to see your opponent not compete as PRACHI (the innocent young Unmarried bubbly girl) and if her unfair re-entry was not enough, she went to ask votes as Bani by reminding all that she is their favourite Bahu. In sat episode it was 5 times when she mentioned that I am your fav Bahu or in guju "hoon tamari vau choon" In the desperation to win she forgot that she was competing as Prachi and not as household name Bani. Although I feel little bad that her win is being attributed by the judges / people and the other contestants only because of popularity and backing of the mother-of-all productio houses.

But I am so proud that Sandhya has remained true to herself. She hardly had any fans but now there are so many like me. Keep it up Sandhya, I wish no matter what happens - she never changes her frankness, self-confidence and fighting spirit. Sandhya ka dil kabhi nahi harega and I wish this never-say-die attitude rubs on to the others.

I knew from the very first day prachi will improve and win.I liked sandhya's dance from the very first day and knew since she is less popular then prachi she will have tough time.Now i feel bad for her she lost and she is a brave girl and standing ovation has proved everything and i only wish as runner up she also get some prize or special prize for her hard work.

👏 👏 Well said. The day the rules were bend to bring back Prachi alone, the results were decided at that point. I know PD fans will argue over this but its true. Last year too Mona used her Jassi image and this year Prachi her Bani image.. They forgot that they are competing as Mona and Prachi and not Jassi and Bani.

Ronit did not use his Mr. Bajaj or Mihir image to ask for votes nor did Jay use his Neev image even though they both are balaji stars as well. Infact no other celebrity used their professional images to ask for vote.

But Sandhya was absolutely brilliant.. Like you I never watched her serial nor watched many of her movies but I love this woman.. Hats off to her..

Sandhya was very popular in a serial with Varun Badola called " Koshish :ek asha...something like this and this was 5-6 years ago and varun was mentally retarded husband of sandhya.She is a great actress also and i request sony to honour her for her hardwork and compensate her for her bad luck.For me also she is a true winner.

The rules werent bent to bring back Prachi alone, Sudha was also going to be brought back...it wasnt directly intended for Prachi...

That was a act. they couldn't have voting system "Prachi versus Wall or chair". They had to put someone against her. WHy not other eliminated contestents.

May i correct you .. The rules were bent to Bring Back PD ..Sudha was added so tongues dont wag .. But public isnt dumb . WHy was the WC round not introduced after Sudha ji was voted out ??

why werent the other contestants given the chance to renter like PD..???

it was directly intended for PD.. PD brought in the money for Sony via the sms with her popularity .

Excellent 👏👏 i am proud of Sandhya too and proud od Shiamak and Urmila God Bles them .

The sad thing is that Sandhya was attacked and insulted endlessly .that wasnt enough , coz after the winner was announced her poor mother was criticized .when i countered some posts ..my warning level was raised ..but not of those folks who made such remarks ... one Bani fan even called Urmila and sandhya ' cows '! and no warning level was raised there .

I am glad this unfair show is ended but the animosity toward Sandhya hasnt .

Sandhya has a grater win and sucess coming her way ..God rewards in his own time .

Kudos to Sandhya for being the real winner👏. She got standing ovation from judges, audience and support from co-contestants. It is all that matters. She is the real winner because if the game was played well then she stood first and Jay was runners-up.

I concur with Sandhya that people only fail if their heart fails. Since she believes in herself and everyone around her does too, that automatically makes her a winner. 👍🏼
