Says Aamir Khan's father Tahir Hussain after reconciling with his son. Aamir even invited his father to watch Taare Zameen Par to get his feedback on the film, a few days ago

Things are getting better between Aamir Khan and his father Tahir Hussain. After the recent news that Tahir has voluntarily handed over the custody of his son Faisal Khan to Aamir, there are now reports that Aamir showed his directorial debut film, Taare Zameen Par to his father recently. All the misunderstandings between the father and son are now over and they are on their way to being a happy family once again.

Tahir Hussain says, "Yes, Aamir did show me the film a few days ago but it was not the final copy. Aamir called me to his preview theatre at his office and showed me the entire film. Although the mixing and post-production work was still on, I could make out that the film is brilliant. The film is very absorbing and it shows how brilliant Aamir is as a director. My son was always a very good actor but I am happy to see that he is also an equally sensible director."

When quizzed about his discord with Aamir, Hussain says, "That's a thing of the past now. I agree that there were certain misunderstandings but not anymore. We are all one now. I love all my children equally and I am proud of the fact that Aamir has worked hard for his success and deserves all his achievements."

So how did the big patch up happen? "I guess there were some things due to which we had differences. I am glad it's over now. When Faisal was in my custody, I realised that Aamir was right that Faisal definitely needed to take his medicines at the right time. He was not 100 per cent okay. Now I know that Faisal will be perfect as Aamir is now taking care of him. I realised that Aamir was right about whatever stand he took for Faisal in the last two months. I respect my son much more now. We are now one big happy family and nothing can come between us anymore."

When asked what he liked in Taare Zameen Par, Hussain says, "It's a very sensitive film and it makes you cry and it makes you laugh. The child protagonist is very good and the subject has been handled very sensibly. Aamir as usual was very good in the film but even the other actors have played their part very well. I told Aamir that I am very proud of him."

Hussain finally says, "Now Aamir should direct another big film. I am always with him. We only want our family to be together always."

I'm so happy for them. I was just thinking about this whole issue few days ago.. it was really sad ..but good to know they r like a family again . 😳

No wonder Aamir issued a statement earlier that he is not associated with his dad in any business endeavors. Mr.Hussain seems to take all wrong decisions in life and causing unnecessary pain to his family members.
