An episode ago Shivaay seemed like the perfect boyfriend, but not anymore. On paper, he is the perfect boyfriend, but in reality, he is the worst type of person to be in relationship with. He is self-centered, dismissive , and extremely apathetic.
Tia seems a bit smarter since she was able to see where she stands in his life or maybe she didn't really care because she has her own motives. I don't think she cares whether he loves her or not. Maybe if she didn't have other motives for marrying him then she would have she would fall in love with him like Malika did, but he would never feel the same. With Malika he may have let his guard down (more than with Tia), but he did not let her in. I find that even crueler than the way he treats Tia, who is practically nonexistent in his life and his thoughts. Here is she madly in love with her perfect supportive boyfriend, who treats her well only to find out that to him her presence in his life doesn't matter. Both women meet the criteria to be his wife and that's the only reason he is/was with them. He didn't even form an emotional attachment to them, which I find sad.
With Anika he is subconsciously being drawn to her. Look at the poolside proposal, his initial reaction was an emotional one. He should have flipped the table and given another "money, power, name" speech/lecture, but he didn't. He was actually considering her offer. She has an actual affect on him and his emotions. He rants about not caring, but he does cares about what she thinks about him and that's probably why he is changing or letting his real personality come through.
I get the whole opposites attract angle now. Love is about passion whereas attachment is apathetic. There is a fine line between hate and love. Both invoke extreme emotions whether it is positive or negative. All the female leads seem to do is make them feel emotions.
Exhibit A: Shivaay's anger is leading him to exhibit uncharacteristic behavior. Why would someone so calculative and smart latch onto a baseless theory without any proof? Unless he was looking for a reason not like her.
Exhibit B: Om's trusting nature led him to have an emotional connection with a complete stranger and as a result he gave his trust willingly. I find it endearing that he let her become a part of his life. He was genuinely concerned about her well-being only to find out it was all lies. Naturally he would be upset and think twice before helping others and inviting them into his life.
Exhibit C: Rudra with his pride not only ignored, but also humiliated the person who comforted when he needed it the most. Then is surprised when she doesn't want to help him woo her friend and feels like he is the wronged person in the situation.
It would be funny to see them all fall first for their leading ladies. If it's done right then all three love stories could be really amazing. Whether it is Shivaay and his hatred turned curiosity, Om and his trust turned anger, or Rudra and his pride turned indignation these ladies are wreaking havoc on their emotions and their lives😆
