I disagree. Yes you are correct with the examples you have given and that attachment may sometimes be apathetic. However I feel that Shivaay, Om and Rudra are very similar in their cores with their leading ladies and that is what attracts them. It's not their outwards personas but the inner personas. We all are never exactly the same but never exactly different either. There's an overlap and when there is a compati ble overlap, that is what bonds people.
Shivaay on paper was not the perfect boyfriend because that is not who he is deep inside. Despite everything he is a loving person and that is a resembling factor that Anika also has. He does get affected by her because she is a challenge and unfamiliar from anything here has ever known. Even there, it's that these two have personalities that love challenge because they have been through a lot in their two decades of a life span.Om and Ishaana bonded through their pain. Yes, they are opposites in many ways but what really reached Om was Ishaana's genuine pain. Ishaana's heart also swayed when she found someone to share the pain with. They are night and day when it comes to morals but their good intentions are what make them compatible.Rudra and Somu are also seen to bond only when one or the other is vulnerable.I find that it's these moments of similarities that bring opposites together. It is also why the opposites attract theory is misleading because recent research shows that opposites that attract usually share the same values, goals and such.
I see your point. My post was in reference to the fact I didn't really see the where exactly the writers were going with the "opposite attract" theme or what they were trying to say. Like you mentioned on some level all the leads connect because of their similarities and shared values. However, with this new entry I think I can see what the writers are trying to do now with this theme.
All the leads are supposed to go against their convictions and fall for someone who was never an option or they perceive are completely different from them. Spending time together will eventually lead to everyone peeling back all the layers and see beyond all the differences between them. Love is about mutual growth with all three couples helping each other grow and change for the better. That the feeling I got, but I could be wrong.
I agree with your examples as well since that was my point all along whether its anger, pain, vulnerability it's their emotions that connects them. All three relationships are moving along because of the emotions being felt by the men (for now).

I agree up to some extent yar
But Shivay is a caring person for those whom he loves. You can see his care and affection for Om, Rudra and Anika ❤️The idea of Cvs is to show that the true love has natural tendency to shake someone belief
I agree with you Shivaay isn't as callous or as cold as he pretends to be. He is an amazing brother who puts his family first, but let's be honest he is a terrible boyfriend. He is very clear about views about life and love, but these women still decided to in a relationship with him. He isn't a horrible person because he doesn't believe in love, he is just apathetic.
