I think it's this one..I moved to India a few years ago & this use to be my favourite spot. My thinking place. Turns out it was also Isha's! On one such thinking night at this spot, I decided I wanted to learn more about film making. So I started assisting. I assisted Rakesh Sir, I worked on Krrish 3, I worked on Kick, then I was part of #TeamHooda, I did my own share of styling & short films & writing & a whole bunch of things! I consider myself hard working (most days), maybe I'm not THE best at whatever I do, but I'm certainly MY best. I highly take pride in the fact that I got here on my own & whatever I do, I do my way. I keep my dignity, & my self respect. I follow rules, but I'm aware that they're also made to be broken (time to time). I mean hell, GOT is a whole bunch of us breaking the rule by breaking oh so many stereotypes! I remember exactly why GOT happened. For the longest time, TV was the last thing on my list of To-Do Things.. Till I got this piece of audition. I read it & I couldn't get it out of my mind! I still couldn't get myself to go give it, but there was just something about a show potentially being called "Girls On Top" & standing up for women empowerment. I thought, "shit, I could do what I love and get paid for it!".. I could reach out to SO many people. There couldn't have been a better way to begin my journey than being Isha Jai Singh. I mean cmon, can you guys imagine me doing a 5 part series on sexuality, s**t-shaming & independence, OR #freethenipe while I'm playing somebody's bahu Mon-Thurs night? No right?? This is it.. I was made for this journey. This had to be my beginning. I guess you could say It was made for me. People believed in me. Thats why I'm here today talking to you. On this 100th episode, I just want to remind you that this is also a celebration of you. Who you are. What you want in life. Go get it. Don't wait for someone to approve of it. Don't be scared. There are no barriers. Not of gender, cast or colour. Follow your dreams - everything else will fall into place eventually. If I can do it, so can YOU!
