Meet the Winners

Prachi Desai first caught our attention as Bani in the television drama Kasamh Se. This TV bahu soon had a huge fan following—the role made her the sweetheart and role model of many young girls. She also won several awards: Sansui Television Award for Best Actress, Indian Telly Couple of the Year Award for on screen chemistry with Ram Kapoor, and Indian Telly Fresh New Face of the Year (Female) Award. On Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, she was paired with Deepak Singh. Deepak has been teaching dance for more than 6 years and is competent in Salsa, Samba, Cha Cha, Jive, Waltz, Merengue and Bollywood style.

The dancing duo was a force to be reckoned with onstage. And though a turn of bad luck saw them being voted out, they made a tremendous comeback with the Wild Card round and soon proved that the janta was right in voting back their favourites. As the bahu is crowned Dancing Queen with Deepak as her 'consort', let's take a look at some of their best performance.
