Hello everyone🤗 .. I hope some of you remember me despite of my long absence from this forum 😛 ... and for those who are new, or old members who have comeback and don't know me ... I am Moutushi ... But people here call me Mou😃 ... Today I am fulfilling the big responsibility of writing my memoir regarding KIS DESH MEIN HAI MERAA DIL ... I am not sure how it will turn out ... Interesting or boring ... Because some experiences and feelings are hard to express through words ... But I'll try😕 ... So please bear with my nonsense 😛
KIS DESH MEIN HAI MERAA DIL ... a show that has kept me glued to tv for hours .. a show that has made me cry like there is no tomorrow ... a show that has made me laugh like a lunatic ... and most importantly a show which has given me some precious friends to cherish forever .. I'll talk about them one by one ..
I was only 17 when KIS DESH happened ... Before KIS DESH I watched only two shows .. Kahiin to hoga and Left Right Left ... I was never a serial viewer ... I was not oblivious to their existence ... But i didn't have interest in them .. other than those two shows I never watched any show more than a month ... Nothing could make me interested to watch it regularly ... but then KIS DESH happened...
It was 2008 ... Forgive me because I don't remember the date exactly ... But i was scrolling channels because there was nothing good to watch on tv ... then suddenly i stumbled upon Star Plus and saw A GUY IN WHITE KURTA CHASING A GIRL WITH AN ANKLET IN HIS HAND ... And when I saw the face of the guy I shouted : " This is Ali from LRL 😲😲😲!!!!! Why is he running behind a girl like a pervert???😲🤣" ... That was the very enchanting and famous SHIV MANDIR scene from KDMHMD ... I didn't know Harshad's real name back then ..
From that day i started following the show regularly ... and I really liked the show because of it's content ... not the hero, not the heroine, not the jodi, not the chemistry made me love the show at first ... The story and content of the show made me love it ... Because I'm sure all will agree with me that 2008 was a golden phase of Kis Desh ... The execution of the story and scenes were brilliant ... and the dialogues were heartfelt ...
Then came the Rasta Roko scene of Premeer ... That scene was the first scene where i found what a beautiful chemistry the on screen Prem and Heer had between them ... They did not have a single dialogue throughout the entire scene but they were oozing chemistry😳 ... and it was so innocent , yet romantic ... from there my journey as a Premeer fan started ...
With every scene of the show I started falling in love with it more and more ... Be it a family oriented scene ... Premeer's romantic scene ... Prem-Preet's bromance scene ... Heer-Meher's emotional scene ... or Prem-Gayatri's scenes ... They were magical ...
I cried for the first time after watching a show during a scene of Prem-Gayatri ... Daljeet accused the juneja family of lying to them regarding Prem's mother ... She called Gayatri Prem's step mother ... and the scene after that where Prem and Gayatri talk to each other and Prem saya "AAP MERI MAA HO" ... I have hardly seen such a strong scene on TV ... Specially Harshad's acting on that scene surprised me ... Because he was not that good of an actor during that time ... He was just emerging as a good actor ... So his acting in that scene came as a shock to me ... And definitely Shama ji's acting was of top notch ... After watching that episode i instantly went to my mother and hugged her saying I love her 😃
Throughout the entire year 2008 i kept falling in love with them more and more ... I forgot to mention that I had my board exam that year ... and I struck a deal with my mother that she'll have to allow me to watch Kis Desh and I won't take any other break from my study ... She didn't have any other choice than to agree with me 😆...
Another scene of Kis Desh that made me cry for the second time was the scene where Heer cries after watching the video which had been recorded before Prem's death in the blast ... I was surprised again by that scene because i couldn't imagine Heer doing that scene ... She was an average actress from me till then ... but that scene made me look back to her peformance and made me realise how much she has evolved as an actress since 1st episode ... She was phenomenal, she was brilliant, she was beautiful and what not ... And yes ... I am calling her Heer because until 2009 I had no idea about any of the actor's real name of Kis Desh ...
I was sad after Prem's death in the serial ... But honestly ... I have watched Ekta's few shows ... and the fun part is the very short time where i followed her shows everytime the hero came back from dead 🤣... so i always had a ray of hope😆 ... I thought it might be a publicity stunt for her show ... though i didn't know why she'll do that to such a beautiful show ...
But i was happy again when Prem came back ... I kept waiting and waiting for the reunion episode in rajasthan since they started airing the precap where someone was carrying Heer in his arms ... and I had no doubt that this is Prem ... And I was happy with my favourite serial again ...
