I understand he is PK's son ... but to be honest ... I don't think PK was ever an advantage for him. I'm not sure what PK's status in the industry is/was ... Especially when SK debuted ... other than being known as a humble, respectable, talented actor. He is no Bachan nor Kapoors.

I am not saying he is arrogant or anything but there are lot of talented actors who fade away even after doing good movies but since Shahid is from the industry people have him in their minds while casting.
