He's actually talented and a good actor - especially since Haider.. It would've be sad if people didn't recognize him for how he performed in Haider.

If Bollywood could find another actor who could pull off an Udta Punjab, they would have already moved away from Shahid. As it stands, nobody has the talent or versatility of Shahid. So even after another 20 flops, he's not going anywhere.

Shahid is running a marathon not a sprint, like seasonal favorites like Ranveer or Varun. They're a dime a dozen and come and go. A talent like Shahid is generational. Remember, Aamir had a dismal record in the 90s too and it wasn't till Lagaan that he came into his own. Its a long road.

Shahid is a talented actor...

but I don't feel that the BO comparison between Aamir and Shahid is proper...Shahid only has 3 hit films in his career i.e. last 13 years...though Aamir didn't have good record in 90's still he had much more hit films...

Shahid has 2 hits in his whole career, Udta Punjab is Average, not clean Hit.

Coz he is good actor, young, affordable and has good standing of so 12-13 years. He debuted quite young and that's his major plus. I feel I have been seeing him for so long and yet he is 35 only. Age is on his side.
