I'm doing a job to support myself dearie.

Not in college, no money to continue.

-------------------Next Part - 13-----------------------------------
Thank you everyone once again for liking and appreciating my FF so much. This is most difficult part for me to write for my own reasons. That is why I took so much time to update. Frankly speaking I was running away from writing it . But anyway I will try to keep it as short as possible.

Next day : Around 4 am - Dev got a call from Saurav Dada. He was already awake so quickly pick up the phone .

Dev- Hello Saurav.. What happened ? Anything serious?

Saurav- Said something ..

Dev- Just hanged up the phone.

Dev was looking at Sonakshi who was sleeping peacefully like a baby after so many days.

Dev quickly went to Ishwari room and wake her up.

Ishwari- Aree Dev .. Tu Yahan ? Kya hua ? Sab theek hai na ...

Dev- Maa kuch hua hai. Meri Himmat nahi Ho rahi hai Sonkashi ko news dene ki.TU chal mere saath.

Ishwari- Kya hua Beta.. Kahi Bhai Sahab?..

Tears started to flow from his eyes ..
Ishwari didn't say anything afterwards.

Ishwari- Ruk main Bhaiya ko bata deti hoon.

Ishwari informed Mamaji regarding the same.

Ishwari , Mamaji and Dev came back to Dev's room.

Ishwari- Sona.. Sona Beta.. Utt Ja ..

Sonakshi rubbing her eyes , struggling to open her eyes.

Sonakshi-Maa.. Aap yaha .. Kya hua.. Aur kya time hua hai?

But she just observed the dull face of Dev, Mamaji and Ishwari, Immediately she understood something major has happpened.

Sonaskhi now fully awake and tensed now looking at their faces.

Sonakshi quickly get up and hold Dev hand..

Sonakshi- Dev kYa hua ?

Dev- was struggling to share the news with her.. Just keep his hands over her cheeks , trying his level best to calm her down..

Sonakshi- Maa.. Aab bataiye na .. Kya hua?

Ishwari- Sonakshi... Shant ho jaoo..

Ishwari- Beta.. Tum toh doctor ho.. Sab jaanti hoon. Woh bhai Sahab ki condition toh tum jaanti thi..

Sonakshi scream in loud voice- No.. No.. No.. and started crying.

Meanwhile Devki wakes up hearing Sonakshi's scream

Devki - Mumma!! what happened?

Ishwari quickly came and took her on her lap- kuch nahi baccha kuch nahi..

Dev came and hold Sonakshi. But Devki was crying more than Sonakshi.

So lastly Sonakshi took her on her lap and with choking voice- Devki Soo Jaoo.. Mumma Yahi hai.. Kuch nahi hua hai..

Dev came, sit beside Sonkashi and hold her and Sonaskhi while crying, kept her head on Dev's shoulder..

She can't even cry and shout otherwise Devki will be more scared which she don't want.

Inside Sonakshi one side- daughter wants to shout, scream , cry and other side- motherly part is saying control Sona for the sake of your child.

Dev after speaking to Saurav Dada, told sonakshi that she shld go and get ready they need to go to Bose home.

Around 6 am - Dev, Sonakshi, Ishwari, Mamaji, Nikki, And even sleepy Devki went to Bose family.

Bose House :

The grief in the air hung like a thick , wool blanket,draped over all of them. There were no smiles, only sorrow, tears over the loss of this wonderful soul. As soon as Dev, Sonakshi enters the Bose family,Asha , Dadi & Saurav Dada lost control over themselves and runned towards Sonakshi and cried a lot.

Dev immediately told nikki to take Devki inside and closed the room. Dev don't want to disturb the child and Sonakshi as well. Because again Devki will ask thousand question to Sonakshi, and currently she is not in position to answer any of them.

Asha- Shona.. Tera Baba kal bahut Khush tha.. Kal toh raat ko mujhe bole Dev Babu jaisa Damad hummein mila hai Asha.. We are very lucky..

Dadi- Yes Shona.. Maine ek ajeeb hi satisfied smile dekhi thi.. Woh kal itna khush tha.

Sonakshi- Yes Maa.. But main nahi Mili Baba se kal. Kyun Nahi aayi main Milene. Itna kaisi busy hogi.

Asha- Shona.. Aisa maat bol. Tera Baba ko tujhse koi complaint nahi thi.

Asha- Aree main yahi bata rahi hoon. Kal raat ko Sote time Bujoy ke face par jo smile thi. Woh main bata nahi sakti hoon tujhe..

Asha came forward and fold her hand in front of Dev- Dev Babu.. Samajh nahi aa raha hai kaise main .. Bujoy ko itni khushi dene ke liye .. Main kabhi bhi.. Struggling to speak.

Dev immediately keep his hand over her hand and hugged her - Maa. Bete se Aisa maat bolo.. In fact I am sorry .. Kuch nahi kar saka.. Late ho gaya main..

Asha and Dadi- Nahi Beta.. Tum ne jo kuch kiya uske liye jitna bolo kaam hai. But Bujoy ka last moment ko khush karne ke liye tumhe jitna thank you bole utna kaam hai.. While saying this both Asha and Dadi broke down and so was Dev.

Sonakshi and Saurav Dada while watching this, again broke down and hugged each other.

Around 11 am- Bose family house was full of relatives, friends, neighbours. Everyone was came inside with folded hands and garlands. Sonakshi acknowledges the sympathetic gaze of the mourners, some of whom hold her hands, others give her a hug.

Meanwhile Dev and Mamji has arranged everything for funeral process.

Dev through his gesture informed Saurav dada that it is time for Baba to go.

Saurav dada came and hold Sonakshi hand - Chal Shona. Chal Baba ko lekar Jana hai.

Everyone started crying hearing this.

Dadi- Bujoy .. Mera Bujoy.

Asha- Maa..

Saurav still holding Sonkashi hand- Shona.. Baba ne sab se jayada tujhse pyaar kiya hai.. Sab se jayada..

Sonakshi- Haa.. Dada.. Baba ne aapko and mujhe kitni baar Ghood mein utaya hai.. Toh kya main aaj unke liye itna bhi nahi kar sakti hoon.. Aaj baba ke dono bacche unko last tak lekar jayege..

With this Sonakshi was first one who came hold stretcher,and pick him up.

Dev who was witnessing all this , felt so proud of her and somewhere wished that even his Devki should do this to them.

Dev internal talking- My strong Sona.

They reached the funeral place within 45 mins, the priest and everyone has started the rituals of funerals.

Sonakshi was only watching the face of Bujoy, and remembering all beautiful memories of her life with her baba.. Saurav Dada came and again told Sonakshi to come with him and helped him to flips the fire .

Sonakshi, Saurav Dada both are now struggling to hold the fire ,they can't do this to their Baba. Dev immediately came and hold their hand and helped them . Both of them hugged Dev and even Dev cried- Because once again he lost his baba.

Dev and Sona decided to go to Ishwari Niwas after cremation because Ishwari called Dev saying they came back home with Devki. And Devki was crying alot for Sonakshi.

Ishwari Niwas:

Dev and Sonakshi came back home and took bath. Dev was giving instructions to Tina as he was not able to go to the office.

Dev Room :

Sonkashi was sitting at Baba's Pic in her room ..

Devki- Mumma.. Mumma.. why don't you take me with you.. Why were you crying? in fact why everyone was crying? Did I do something wrong? Am I..

Devki was going on and on non stop.

Sonakshi was not even listening to her.

But suddenly Sonakshi took her on her lap

Sonakshi- Devki!! Tum ko pata hai na.. Maine tum ko Papa King ki story suni thi..

Devki- Yes Mumma. I know that story that papa is busy in looking after his kingdom so he can't come and meet us. As a king he has many responsibilties and duties. God gave you - me instead because of papa king was too busy

There goes again- non stop .So Sonakshi cut her off.

Sonkashi- What if I told you Papa king has come back.

Devki- Huh ? when ? And where is he? I didn't see .. No one informed me.. Let's go and meet him then ..

Sonakshi- You know him Devki.. Sonakshi brought Dev pic infront of her.

Sonakshi- He is your Dad Devki..

Devki- No he is my uncle. Mumma.

Sonakshi- No he is your dad. Your dad.

Devki- But why can't you tell me earlier.. why no one informed me ?

Sonakshi realised that small mind is now confused with so many questions is going on her mind.

Sonakshi- Because Dev felt guilty. He was not there when God gave you to me. He missed many precious moment of yours. Accah batao jab tum kuch aisa karti hoon jab tumhe lagata hai ki may be main gussa ho jaoogi then tumhe mujhe batane mein problem hoti hai na.

Devki- Yes Mumma.

Sonakshi- Waise hi tumhare Daddu ko problem ho rahi hai. Kyun woh busy thae apne responsibilities mein. Woh soch rahe hai-Aab main Devki ko kaise batao? Devki mujhse gussa karegi. Devki mujhse kabhi baat nahi karegi.Devki mujhe shout karegi.

Devki- Ohh I see Mumma .

Sonakshi- Yes Devki .. I want to go and told your dad- No matter what. Devki loves her Dad. He loves you jaan . He loves you alot. Every father loves his kids ( shaking while saying this). Go Jaan Apne dadu ka haath kabhi nahi chhodna.. Kabhi bhi nahi.. You are his princess ..

Devki- And he is my king.. Is it Mumma?

Sonakshi with tears- Yes he is your king..

Devki quickly run outside to meet Dev. Sonakshi was watching it from her room. Dev was working in garden and giving instructions to Tina and other employees.

Devki - came and stand beside him.. Don't know what to do next. So she looks up at Sonakshi. Sonakshi was instructing her to say it.

Devki with low voice - Daddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dev who was busy in talking , heard it from Devki, immediately stopped talking , hanged up the phone..

Dev- Devki.???

Devki came more close and with tears in small eyes touched face of Dev.

Devki- Daddy!! My king Daddy is back.. You are my daddy..

Dev almost choked after listening this..He was not able to decide what he needs to do first. ? Should he hug her or give her kiss? Or explain to her why he is not there with her in all these years.

Devki- now crying - Daddu.. You are my daddu( holding head and still touching the face of Dev)

Dev hugged her tightly - ohh Devki .. I was dying to hear this.. Yes am your daddu.. You are my little princess. My princess. He kissed her nonstop.. My baby..

Devki-- I missed you so much Daddu.. I love you..( still hugging him tightly)

Dev- Me too.. Meri Devki.. Ohh my darling daughter.. I love you so much..

Dev pick her up and hugged and kissing her continously.

Ishwari and Mamaji was watching this scene - came towards garden area.

Ishwari- Bhaiya .. Woh din aa gaya .. Par aaj ??

Mamaji- Haa. Ishwari.. Aaj Kissine kuch Paaya .. Aur kissine kuch Koya ..

Ishwari and Mamaji came and place their hands over Dev's head and giving blessing to them .

Sonakshi who was witnessing all this from her room and sat down and cried..

Sonakshi-- Aaj Devki ko apne daddy mil gaye Baba.. Aaj main aapko khoya but Devki ko apne papa mil gaye..while holding the photoframe of Bujoy.

Ishwari Niwas - At midnight..

Sonakshi was struggling to sleep , she came outside and was watching the sky.

Dev came from behind and hugged her.

Although they are not talking to each other verbally , but their silence in between them is conveying thousands things to each other.

Dev- Thank you .. Aur tum Jaanti hoo.

Sonakshi with tears- Dev!! Don't say thanks.

Sonakshi again looked up in sky with tears- I love you Baba... Rest in peace Baba

Dev still hugging Sonakshi- Don't worry about your princess Baba and yes.. Rest in peace Baba.. Rest in peace..

P.S. I understand many people are not ready for this part. Like every color is important. Black/white is also part of our life. This is bitter truth of our life. No one wants to face it but someday we all have to face it.

I would still say my character Sonakshi is still lucky in this part. I didn't get the opportunity to say goodbye to my baba. Now I have to wait for long time to meet him again..

So even for my Baba- Rest in peace!! and wait for me..
