Ignoring the chutiya headline, Katrina's answers are so logical and well constructed.Katrina Kaif may have had a busy year in terms of her professional life, but when it comes to her personal life, things haven't been smoother for the actress. Katrina separated from her long time beau Ranbir Kapoor earlier in the year.
While the actress has maintained strict silence over the same, Ranbir recently opened upaboutitin an interview with a popular journalist. Today, when we met Katrina for the media interactions of her upcoming movie Baar Baar Dekho, we couldn't help but ask the actress about.
When quizzed if it was difficult shooting for the movie since she was going through a tough time in her personal life, Katrina admitted, "I think everyone needs to separate personal and professional lives. A lot can be said on this. A lot of people could understand what I would say if I was to say. Having said that, I have taken the decision and I have stood by that, to not talk on this topic. And I feel that is right."
Given that the opposite person has spoken about it, we probe her if she would want to react to it? "You take every moment in life as it comes. Every time someone asks me this question, Iunderstand that it is out of care and concern. I respect that but I still don't choose to comment," explains Kaif. We wonder if this is the dignified Katrina speaking and she quips, "You can dissect the statement but it still remains the same."
Interestingly, in Baar Baar Dekho, Sidharth's character is a commitment phobic and the actor had recently admitted that the people of this generation would relate to it more.
Ask the leggy lass if she agrees that men are more commitment-phobic than women and pat comes the reply, "I choose to take the stand that it isn't gender thing but a person thing. I know many women who don'twant to settle down and I also know many men who wouldn't want to get married. If I have to generalize then I like to believe that women are more inclined towards the family. And towards attachment and protection. Most women are like that. But if you ask me personally, then I would want both (career and marriage).
Would you give up your flourishing career for the man you love? "Absolutely, if I want to, yes. Not being forced or coerced, but if I felt then absolutely. And I believe that every woman should follow her instinct," asserts Katrina.
Question her if she is commitment phobic and she immediately replies, "Am I considered in this generation? If yes then letme tell you I am not commitment phobic."
