I know everyone is happy seeing Shravan beat Aditya especially after his horrid behaviour with Suman in the OLVs. It will be good to see Sharman together and the third wheel out..nice bit of drama for viewers to look forward too..but the situation just feels like a huge cop out
Aditya has been shown as a regular fellow till couple of episodes ago..he might have been annoying but he wasn't shown as a bad man..it's so easy to make the third wheel bad..so that one can root for both the main leads and not feel bad about it ..but it takes talent to do justice to all three in a supposed triangle..looks like the writers are unimaginative (have been since a while now) and went for the easy way out😕

To prop up the leads and their story, make the third wheel a villain 🥱
As much as I like Sharman, this just feels poor writing

I get where you're coming from, it seems the writers couldn't decide if they wanted Aditya to be the golden boy who reunites Shraman out of the goodness of his heart or an obstacle in their eventual reunion.
I will say that he has always seemed sinister to me in his actions towards Suman, whether it is constantly lying to her or manipulating her to agree to something she normally wouldn't.

The scene where he announces their engagement set my alarm bells off, in how he pressures her to confess and then tells her that he's not responsible for his next action, she is. SHE forced him to take drastic action because she just wouldn't do what he was asking.

It seemed like classic abusive/manipulative behavior to me, benign at first but I could imagine it escalating to something much more terrible.

I didn't expect Aditya to be as sinister as they have made him to be in the OLVs
Yes he has lied and subtly manipulated Suman..but then there are many who do that (not condoning it) and not be complete douchebags
That seemed more as a character flaw for Aditya (just like Shravan and sumo have their own inherent flaws) and could have been worked into the story
I don't think the CVs always planned to make Aditya black from the start and hence were showing him the way he was ..That seems more of a recent decision
Almost as if they overdid showing Shravan as a misogynist and an ass in general..and rather than go through the trouble of slowing changing his perception..they decided let's make the other guy worse than Shravan..so that he ends up looking better.. an easy way to gloss over things

PS: not sure what you meant by she forced him to take a drastic step but the molestation is all on Aditya (or poor writing) Suman has nothing to do with it

Sorry for the confusion, I meant in the scene where Aditya is going to announce their engagement during Preekar's wedding, he says to her that whatever he does next will be because of her, and that he views his actions as her fault, not that it actually is her fault. Perhaps it wasn't intentional from the writers but that type of thinking made me suspicious of him.

I do agree with you that this is an easy way out of making Shravan the hero - while his rescue is noble, I hope they spend some time later addressing all the hurtful things they both said to each other and not skip over it.

Aditya is also show every possessive about his relations and wants things to be done the way he wants says others wanted it and I helped them...he is good still things are done the way he wants but when they don't go that way he is get annoyed and do whatever he wants to get it done that way.. it was clear when
Bachelor party.
Aditya pressured suman to express her feeling but when she did not , inspirit of saying will talk after marriage he announced their marriage without even thinking of suman and her feelings...and blamed on her...
He said nirmala that he is her only son and forget sharvan...

These look like same things but actually are symptoms of person who wants what is wants but hook or crook and person who is very possessive about his relations...

Actually, I agree with you but I would term it TRP pressure. The characterisation has been compromised for some time now. Not only does it take talent to do justice, it also takes time to present three perspectives which are acceptable to the audience. The drama overdose started with the entry of Adithya and hopefully will come to an end with his exit. Having said all this, I must admit I am actually loving the cliched track, I don't know how the CVs managed that 😉

Ok I dunno if I will make some sense here but I feel the way Adi reacted that has been very realistic given that from the start he was not any Shravan. I totally agree that CVs have been unsuccessful in writing a love triangle here because honestly Aditya was never a match for Shravan. CVs never spent that much time on Aditya. They always showed him to be someone who was obsessed to Sumo's beauty, her sensuality to be precise. The only credibility he had was that he was Nirmala's son, a charterer who shares the same blood as our ML. Apart from that we never saw Aditya try to know Sumo or do something that really made him a man of worth, leave aside not even being half as good as Shravan. So I think CVs really never wanted to create a proper third angle...They only wanted a haddi who could create MUs b/w our couple and that he has very well done. The subtle hints of his grey shades were given since ever with him being so pushy and then selective about what he spoke to whom. So it was kinda obvious...

It'll seem as if I am taking Aditya's side but if you'll observe closely, in the OLVs, Aditya is not sexually harassing her. He is demanding answers and loses it in the process. Yes, it's disgusting and wrong on all levels what he is going to do, physically assaulting and manhandling any girl/guy is just...wrong.
But what I mean to say is, maybe he didnt intend it to come out like that?(Again, not saying that not sexually harassing and physically harassing is in anyway better than the other. Both are equally wrong) but still...

I feel we should give CVs the benefit of doubt. We have still a lot of episodes to go before we get to this particular one. Maybe they'll build his character in the process. Maybe he'll want to know why Suman didn't tell him everything and he'll come to know and demand answers.

Maybe in that process he'll come to know about Ramnath and will tell everyone how HE was lied to cause of this man's lie. Or it can happen that nirmala might be yelled at by one of these elders and Aditya will protect his mom's respect by stating what kind of selfish father Ramnath is.

So we don't exactly know what's going to happen. We've loved the show so far and believed how its realistically shown. I'd say we should give this a chance.
