A very different post and I liked the frankness. 😊 Dev's confession was refreshing and what followed was more of two people completely smitten with each other, oblivious of the place they are in!! This usually happens in Bharjatia movies - big house, bigger gardens, big kitchen etc etc, so one can romance anywhere. 😃 Here, Dev and Sonakshi are mesmerized with each other. Nothing cheesy about it, some dialogues are cliched, that's all. The Creatives had to show the depth of their closeness to take the impact of their separation a notch higher.

All in all, the story is now moving ahead and let's hope to see something more interesting.

If you notice, there's a deep rooted patriarchy in the upbringing. Dev was the head of the house even as they grew up which I think is the main cause for the trouble. She has seen him as her equal and as he grew up, her superior.

He makes the decisions.

He gets away with anything.

He can marry Sona though there is a difference in status because he can provide for the two of them. Even Sona's family for that matter.

The point I am trying to make is, Ishwari unconsciously put the obsession into him. He wanted to do well for his family but it was also Ishwari's will that helped. While professionally he has progressed, personally, there's a lot to learn.

I agree with you ---- There's a symbiotic relationship -- Both have moved forward by pushing each other along the way --- Have made each other secluded from others -- Now that Dev has broken the wall and has included someone else in, Ishwari is going to *act out* with her gestures and words --- It's a defense mechanism of kind --- !!!
*Obsession* is the key here ---- Both have that trait -- She's overly possessive/obsessed with him and he was too until his obsession found a new *Black hole* aka Sona --- *😆*
This is why the show is intriguing for me ---- I want to see how both tackle their obsession and resolve the undying issues that is making them latch onto each other like leaches --- lol-- !!!

Haha --- When I 1st made the topic, I wasn't expecting many to agree with me ---- Surprised there are many more like us --- And glad they have all come out to say what they had to --- Hoping our criticism lands on the ears and they bring back the charm of the show back on track --- !!!

What I found amusing was some members specifically asked who TM thought was better actress than Erica and then started bashing TM and her choice of actress 😕 One should understand when you have to defend your favorite by pulling others down then there is a flaw in that argument..

I saw the topic too --- It was in the bad taste --- Liking is subjective and so is judging someone's acting ---- If *Itelidevara* finds some actresses better than Erica --- so be it ---
Even I don't find Erica to be that great of an actor --- She is improving but yet to be called a good actor --- She gets monotonous and a lot of times utters her dialogues as if regurgitating without putting in the feelings --- !!!
By the way --- did you notice who was one of the members mocking this member for liking Divyanka, Jennifer and others---? Yup the same who is crying/lying here of being attacked --- sounds like a case of a pathological liar to me who can't hear a word against his or her favs ---lol -- !!!

I agree partially ! I don't find them cheesy after confession but now it has surely become monotonous :/
I enjoyed till their rain sequence , after that i think they are not focusing much on the couple and the storyline seems boring to me now .
I badly want a new track , better focusing on dev-sonakshi .

Anyways i always like couples more in their pre confession phase -.- :P
