Part 12

D day of project submission came. All d groups were giving their presentation one by one.

"Karan n Ria," said d professor announcing dat their turn came.

Karan n Ria went before everyone n started giving their presentation on their topic of formal or office clothes for both men n women. Everyone applauded for them wen they their presentation completed. After dat, Imraan n Tanveer came. Their presentation was on beach wear. Everyone started laughing on knowing their topic. D professor hushed everyone up. They started their presentation. Everyone started laughing again on seeing their photos in bikinis n trunks in their powerpoint slides. D professor again hushed them up. Asad n Zoya lukd at each other n smiled thinking sumthn.

"My joke became truth wid dis pair," whispered Asad.

"Have u given them dis idea or wat?" whispered Zoya jokingly.

"No," whispered Asad.

Everyone except Tanveer n Imraan's some new friends reluctantly applauded Imraan n Tanveer. Asad n Zoya's turn came next. They gave a very nice presentation. Everyone was amazed on seeing their photos in wedding clothes in their powerpoint slides. Many students were surprised to see them presenting so nicely 2ghtr as everyone knew how they used to fight earlier especially fighting near their lockers. Everyone applauded wen they finished their presentation. Many students including their friends praised them for their wedding attires designs on d powerpoint n how they were lukn so awesome in them.

"Urs designs r so beautiful. I loved ur idea of showing wedding attires of different religions. Luks like u both really worked hard on it," said d professor wid a smile.

"Mam, it was Asad's idea," said Zoya.

"It may be my idea but we both equally worked hard it," said Asad.

Asad n Zoya went back to their places. Ayaan n Humeira were called for their presentation which was d last presentation in d class. They gave presentation of traditional dresses of various parts in India. Everyone applauded them wen they were finished.

Asad, Zoya n their friends went to d canteen after d lecture. They were talking abt their presentations on how they were nervous being their 1st presentation of dis college.

"Cuz of dis project, u both at least became great friends," said Humeira.

"We became friends before d project," said Zoya.

"Yaa but dis project made u bond more wid each other," said Humeira.

"I got to know more abt her as a friend," said Asad.

"U hardly know anything abt me, Asad. Not just u but everyone in dis Delhi city hardly knows anything abt me," thinks Zoya sadly in her mind.

A week has passed 4m d day of project submission. Its been nearly 2 months since d college started. Karan-Ria, Ehsaan-Aditi n Farhan-Sameera have bcum a couple as they fell in love in these months. Everyone was at Ayaan's place. Najma is also there. 2day is Rakshabandhan. Asad, Ayaan n Karan have rakhis tied on their hands. Everyone had come to Ayaan's place after they all celebrated Rakshabandhan. Ayaan has one more sister Nuzhat who is younger to him by 2 years n is in Najma's class.

"Karan, u still have not given me my Rakshabandhan gift," said Sameera.

"Sam, I will give u later," said Karan.

"Kab? Agle saal?" asked Sameera sarcastically.

"I said na I will give," replied Karan rolling his eyes.

"Okay, I will wait," said Sameera.

Zoya remembers Haider sadly wen she sees Asad-Najma, Nikhat-Ayaan-Nuzhat, Karan-Sameera who have celebrated Rakshabandhan. She n Haider were very close 4m childhood. But he changed during his early teens by bcumn snobbish like his mother. He left all his friends who were not rich n told Zoya to d same but she did not listened. He wud insult her middle-class friends in school or weneva they wud come to their house but Zoya wud always shut him up by defending him. Their sibling bond was not like before though they wud still love each other a lot but Haider did not understood Zoya's emotions weneva he wud show his dislike on her middle-class friends or wen her mom wud force her to follow harsh diet n exercise to bcum a supermodel. He wud think dat he n Zoya can live lavishly all their lives on their parents money n handling their parents business on growing up. He wud hardly spend time wid Zoya but wud spend most of his times wid his friends.

"Zoya, do u have any brother?" asked Nuzhat who did not knew much abt Zoya.

Zoya recalls how Haider was self-centred n selfish never understanding her emotions n pain n said in an emotionless tone, "I don't have any brother."

Scene shifts to Farooqui Mansion. Haider is crying in his room missing his sister by seeing one of her photo-frame. He has a wrapped gift box near him. He has brought a gift for Zoya to give her for Rakshabandhan but sadly she is not here. He has not eaten anything 4m d morning as he is thinking abt his sister praying for her to come back.

"Zoya, I have been a bad brother. Plz, forgive me n come back," said Haider thru his tears.

Zeenat came in his room. Haider wiped his tears.

"Haider, have some food," said Zeenat.

"Mom, I am not hungry," said Haider.

"But u have not eaten anything 4m morning," said Zeenat worriedly.

"U r worried for me as I have not eaten just 1 breakfast. Where was ur worry wen u wud starve Zoya wid heavy diet to fulfill ur unfulfilled dreams?" asked Haider rudely.

"Haider beta, wat r u saying?" asked Zeenat shockingly.

"I am saying right, Mom," replied Haider angrily, "Aap Zoya ko acchha khaane k liye tarsaati(tantalize) thi. Do u ever realized wat she went thru all those times?"

Haider, I realized my mistake," said Zeenat sadly.

"Cuz of ur influence, even I turned like u. Instead of correcting my mistakes, u encouraged me for my mistakes by saying dat I am doing right by only hanging out wid rich people. Cuz of u, I turned out a snob like u who left my poor friends. Cuz of u, I discouraged Zoya 4m teln her dad on how u r forcing her to fulfill ur own dreams by emotionally blackmailing her. Cuz of both of us, Zoya left d house but u r her main culprit. U only care abt ur image not ur children's feelings. So, leave me alone," said Haider bitterly.

Zeenat left d room in tears.

"Where r u, Zoya? R u not remembering ur elder brother?" asked Haider sadly.

Scene shifts to Ayaan's house.

"Lets watch a movie on brother-sister," said Ayaan.

"Wat abt Dil Dhadakne Do which is also of brother-sister?" asked Sameera.

"Yaa, dats cool," replied Ayaan.

"Guys, I am going home as I want to sleep," said Zoya.

Zoya was not interested in watching any sibling movie as it reminded her of Haider.

"Zoya, wait till d movie na," said Ria.

"Ria, I really want to sleep," said Zoya.

"Okay," said Ria.

Zoya left d house.

2 days later, Zoya was walking on d beach in d evening dressed in a short white floral dress. After some time of lukn at d waters, she went to a stall.

"Bhaiyya, 1 teekha pani-puri dena," said Zoya.

A guy recognized her voice n turned to her.

"Asad you? Wen u came here?" asked Zoya.

"Just now," replied Asad n asked, "And you?"

"I am here 4m 10 minutes," replied Zoya.

"Bhaiyya, muje bhi ek teekha pani-puri dena," said Asad.

"Its amazing to see u & our other rich friends to eat all these snacks which high-class people call as low-class foods," said Zoya wid a smile.

"Luks like u r watching a lots of Gul Khan shows where rich people have only boring n tasteless foods," said Asad amusingly.

"Oh plz, I don't watch her shows," said Zoya.

"I know. I was just joking," said Asad.

(After having pani-puris, they walked on d beach enjoying d cool breeze wid a chocolate cornetto cones in their hands. Zoya was feeling so nice to be wid Asad. She did not know why she was feeling so attracted to him wen she decided never to fall in love again.)

(They walked into d water loving d feel of cool wet sand under their feet. They splashed water at each other playfully. Then they stood in d water n watched d beautiful view of sunset 2gthr. After dat, they got out of d water n sat on d sand watching d waters. He was having a great wid Zoya. He was earlier irritated wid her arrogant behaviour wid him n his friends just cuz they were rich but now he is seeing her so changed as she is no more arrogant to him n their other rich friends. Zoya did not know why she was enjoying so much wid Asad. She hated him earlier as he was rich n also cuz he always irritated her but later she realized dat he n his friends r not spoilt-brats after they helped her in saving her 4m Imraan during Fresher's Party. As time passed, she found Asad such a sweet guy wid good sense of humour who never misbehaved wid any girls or passed comments on them. She got to know more abt him during their college project.)

Zoya did not know why she smiled at his reply. She stopped smiling wen Asad lukd at her.

They left d beach n got their bikes.

Scene shifts to Zohu's suite room. Humeira was finding sumthing in her cupboard wen a small box fell 4m Zoya's side of cupboard wid some small pieces of clothes cumn of it. Humeira bend n picked up d box along wid d pieces of clothes. She lukd at d pieces n was puzzled to see dat they were labels of clothes, purse, bags, clutch n footwears.

"How come dis branded labels r wid Zoya?" asked Humeira clueless.

Her eyes then turns to Zoya's clothes which lukd some of Zoya's clothes which lukd costly but were not as said by Zoya dat they were of standard brand. She checked d labels of her clothes which were standard labels. She then lukd carefully at those labels.

"D labels on some clothes luks like their labels have been removed earlier n put another labels on it," said Humeira as she carefully lukd at how d labels were stitched or pasted.

She then lukd at her shoes. Some of them lukd costly. She tuk out a Jimmy Choo label 4m d box n brought it near one of her shoes where a standard label was pasted.

"Dis label luks of dis shoe then why Zoya changed d label?" asked Humeira.

She then lukd at one of her bag which lukd like Prada bag. She saw 1 Prada label in d box n brought it near d bag. D label matched wid d bag due to d colour n structure of d label.

"Dis label matches wid dis bag but Zoya changed its label too," said Humeira.

Just then, she got a call 4m Zoya saying dat she will reach d suite in 5 minutes. Humeira kept all of Zoya's things as they were earlier n sat on her bed.

"I need to ask Zoya abt all dis," said Humeira.

After some time, Humeira came in their room.

"How was ur time at d beach?" asked Humeira.

"It was so nice," replied Zoya, "I met Asad there then we had a nice time 2ghtr."

"Really? U met Asad?" asked Humeira wid a smile.

"Yes," replied Zoya wid a smile.

"Wat u both did?" asked Humeira.

Zoya tells her abt their time 2gthr on d beach.

"Wow Zoya, u really had a great time," said Humeira wid a smile.

Zoya went to freshen up n change her clothes. Wen she returned, she saw Humeira sleeping. She checked whether she was asleep n then went to d cupboard. She tuk out d box which Humeira found earlier. She removed all d labels n burned it wid her cigaretter lighter. Unknown to her, Humeira was seeing wat she was doing as she was not sleeping at all but pretending to sleep. Humeira was astonished on seeing her burning d labels.

"I sud not leave these labels like dis. If Humeira wud have seen them by mistake then she wud ask me abt it. No one sud know dat I am not poor but a girl 4m a rich family who changed d labels of her old clothes, bags n shoes wid standard labels," said Zoya.

Humeira was shocked on hearing wat she said.

Zoya gets a mail notification on her cell 4m Gmail. She checked her mail n saw dat her dad again transferred her pocket money of 1 lakh in her account. Being 4m a rich family, she n her brother got a big amount of pocket money. But since she left d house 2 months ago, she decided dat she will not use her parents money. Last month, she did not used even a rupee 4m d pocket money transferred by her dad. She will do d same dis time too.

"Sorry dad, I am not ur same Zoya anymore. So, I can't use ur money," thinks Zoya as a couple of tears came 4m her eyes n kept d cell on her bed.

She went to d kitchen to have sumthn. Humeira stealthily got up n tuk her cell which was not still locked as she had unlocked just now. Humeira who faintly saw her opening d Gmail account opened it herself n was shocked to see 1 lakh rupees being transferred in Zoya's account by her dad Anwar Farooqui dat also twice. There was no photo of her dad on d account so she cud not find dat Zoya's dad who came to college was fake.(In Samsung phones, d Gmail accounts don't have logout button so anyone using d cell can see them) On hearing Zoya's footsteps, she kept her cell back on her bed after pressing back button to to bring her cell's homepage n lied on her own bed. After some time, Humeira was further shocked wen she saw Zoya going to d balcony n smoking a cigarette.

"Wat more things Zoya is hiding?" thinks Humeira shockingly.

Precap: #Karan n Ria who were at d mall to spend time wid each other saw Zoya's parents in some colourful clothes. They heard them saying different names to d organizer of a show in d mall. They presented a Gujrati folk dance. After their performance, Karan n Ria heard them talking to each other on how they do such a nice acting. Karan n Ria came to them n called them wid d names of Zoya's parents shocking them. They then asked whether they really r Zoya's parents to which they said d truth shocking them.

#Humeira sees Zoya changing d label of a Vero Moda dress 4m d kitchen.

#Asad goes to watch Najma's ramp shoot. He goes backstage to spend some time wid her. He tells her how he loves Zoya n will be proposing her soon. Najma encourages him for dat. Just then, a make-artist brings a fashion photographer near Najma teln dat he came 4m Mumbai. D photographer tells Najma n some other models dat he will be a part of their Van Heusen women clothing ad. He tells them to see some of d photos of models he clicked to let them know abt his best works. As he shows everyone d photos, Najma n Asad r shocked to see dat d folder had some of Zoya's photos wid her name written on them.

A/N: No updates for a week as I have an exam on Wednesday.
