she was awesome in her debut, and looks dreamy in mostly all of her songs!! after pardes she didnt really get any proper female lead film i wonder why..she did small films later. where is she now a days?

She chose very bad scripts just like Ameesha Patel and stumbled one after another. I liked her in Pardes and Saraswati yeh tera ghar but she wasn't cut out. In her last ditch attempt she started exposing her boobs and doing sensual roles but that too didnt fly with the audience.

I doubt if she been offered films opposite top heroes she would have rejected them..probably she was never offered big budge films..after pardes there was no big films of her as herione

Mahima Chaudhary's career failed because she wasn't focusing properly as she was too busy with her personal life dating men. I believe she dated a tennis player who had an affair with another women. This happened before she got married. Plus, she wasted her talent in several movies e.g. Deewane & Dhadkan which is part of the reason why her career failed.

She wasn't a good actress but not the worst. Her best performance was Pardes & Daag: The Fire. I did like her in Lajja although her role wasn't that substantial compared to Manisha Koirala, Madhuri Dixit & Rekha.

She used to be very pretty but not anymore. The one thing I liked about her was those eyes as she's half Nepali on her mother's side. Some Nepalese women are good looking...I guess.

Maybe if she had better dancing abilities she could've been more successful...

She dated Leander Peas, he ditched her for that unfortunate looking woman Rhea who was Mrs Sanjay Dutt that time (they're separated and fighting for money according to latest reports, turns out they were never married)

Actresses like Madhuri, Sridevi were focused, single minded and didn't waste their time on anything else, that accounts for their amazing success

I agree with what you said about her dancing ablities. She did a dancing song in Daag which wasn't bad. Here's the link.

As far as her acting goes, she wasn't bad. I only liked her in Daag, Pardes & Lajja. She had good role in Dil Kya Kare but she overreacted and her voice was irritating in my opinion.

She was very pretty during that period (90s and early 00s) especially in Daag.

She looks gorgeous in this pic. Plus, her pink outfit looks very nice and suits her as well.
