Oh Lord, my dear Akka, what a tongue twister!

It reminds me of one of those parlour games when one is shown a tray full of odd, disconnected objects, and the players have to always remember one more object than the competitor to their left. I was always a dud at those kinds of games, and I would never have been able to make the cut here, like a slow runner in a musical chairs game!

You, Akka, are nothing less than a walking, talking, writing encyclopaedia of nursery rhymes and a of a whole lot else. 👏No one would be able to list out all your hunars, especially in the proper order!

Now, Akka these two posts clearly have to be taken together, so I am pasting the second one too here.

They are both full of the same sense of simple, unaffected fun, and your 5 year old is, as always, a treat.

As I have told you before, I adore her charming and extremely funny malapropisms, so much so that I see them even when they are not there at all! Here, I was very pleased to see, they are present in abundance, and I luxuriated in them. Also in some unexpected, quaint words of worldly wisdom from our mistress of ceremonies.

Plus here Bindu too is side-splitting at times, all the more so because she has no idea of that!

I am as usual highlighting my favourite passages in blue. Very nice going, Akka!👏

Baby: Yes Akka...I watched Siya ke Ram yesterday, when Ram talks to Sita's daddy after he broke the bow. We can also do like that.. Do you know grandma said that Shyamala Aunty wrote that she enjoyed the scene very much ..
Shagun: Yes...I also read that.. She said that it was a novel interpretation,... that is a new understanding.. Like that our Jalal can ask Jodha if she is willing to marry him..Suppose she says no?..
Baby: Why 'no'? She will say 'yes'!.. Our Jalal will be like Ram, and Sita won't say no..

(Bindu comes there)

Bindu: Hi Chellis! What's going on?
Baby: We are talking about Jalal- Jodha wedding akka... How to do it like Rama-Sita wedding...
Bindu: One very important thing we forgot Shagun...Who will act like Jalal aka Ram and who will do the role of Jodha i.e., Sita?...
Shagun: Yes di, I was also thinking about it...
Bindu: Why don't you and Baby will be Jalal and Jodha?..
Shagun: Oh, God! can I do that?..
Baby: Shagun akka.. that'll be fun.. You'll be Jalal Uncle and I will be Jodha aunty.. But we will speak like Ram and Sita in Siya ke Ram..It is easy..Ram always keeps smiling..not talking much..that you can do..you can simply hold the doll and keep smiling...

Note the unintended put down of poor Shagun aka Jalal-Ram!😉

Shagun: Then who will do the saalis?
Bindu: We will find somebody from our Akdha Admirers' Association..
Baby: Bindu akka, remember, you are Jodha aunty's mom. You should cry whenever you are asked to cry...
Shagun: Okay di, I'll then write the script...

G'ma: Do you know children? ... Zee TV just called.. The want to take a video of the full wedding event to be telecast in their channel.. They want to do it as a promotion for their JA re-run show..

Bindu, Shagun and Baby: Aye...Yippee...!!

Everyone is happy, particularly, Jodha ..but Jalal will say, "I am an honest Shahenshah and because I have not fulfilled the condition of aiming arrow with the bow, I am not eligible to marry Jodha..."

Baby: Oh.no..what will Jodha akka do then? What will all the persons who came for the wedding do? Will they go back home?

Shagun:.. No..no.. the wedding will happen.. I have given a dialogue to Jodha which will make Jalal look at her with surprise..She will say that it was she who ordered the bow to be made a little bent, so that it would be easy for him to lift and aim the arrow and ..and...marry me ... How is the suspense? Do you like it?

Bindu: That's good.. In this way we can show that our Jodha is not like Ekta madam's Jodha.. but is happy to marry Jalal.

Baby: So we need not also copy Siya ke Ram and make our Jalal ask Jodha if she likes to marry him..

Bindu: And Shagun, grandma said that the Zee TV people had promised to meet all the expenses and also wanted to arrange a big wedding feast ...

I used to love this Rhyme from my young days..especially the beat..

I have not heard about the game which you have referred to, but I know a somewhat similar game called"Memory game" or "Observation test" And I am also a slow runner like you in musical chair games!

Please Shyamala, do not praise too much about my"hunars". I don't know how to respond!

A big,big "THANK YOU" for your (running) comment(ary)s for Baby's posts!

When we reported for duty after a spell of leave(while in service) we used to clear a lot of arrears accumulated during our absence. You are doing this now..Thanks to you.Hats off to you for locating Baby's posts in the different threads..Even I am not able to do that. I was searching for Baby Sarasa's 'review of Rajat's reappearance in Naagin' this whole afternoon, but couldn't locate it yet.
