So I'm all for the sympathy I see Mamaji giving Dev, as one of the only two people to actually understand why he let Sonakshi go - the other person being Neha. But I have to admit that I am sorely disappointed by the way even he is choosing to see it through a more convenient lens than he should. Glorifying Dev's actions by calling them a sacrifice is fine. It IS a sacrifice, undoubtedly. But it is nevertheless a sacrifice that should not have been made, and Mamaji is sensible enough to know that too. The fact that he isn't completely comfortable with it is the saving grace, for me. Otherwise, in his love for his sister, he is no less a culprit for Dev's downfall. He knew what was happening, and he let it happen despite knowing that it isn't right. Someday, in the near future, I'd really like to see him acknowledge that he has been selfish and unkind too.

Mamaji did more damage to Dev in one episode that GKB failed to b do in the entire series.

No mention of overdose. Also I just couldn't wrap my head around why Dev couldn't reveal the real reason behind the break-up. He could have said Ishwari didn't want it. He is just following his mother's wishes after all.

Why did he hide that... Is he ashamed of his mother... If not his revelation should logically cheer Ishwari. And a typical clueless Dev should have assumed the same.

Again... Contrived complication of hiding facts fur not apparent reason.

Mamaji even said to dev ki he was never a good dad or a good mama .. but he knew he was a good brother
I think he know ki he is being selfish for his sister's happiness

Useless it is... this Ishwari-Mamaji... want to meet their mother... kya khilaya tha????? Oh God, they are full of insane thoughts... really time for sanyas...!!!
Mamaji has lost it losing his home.. now only possession left is Ishwari...
Ishwari has lost it seeing Dev close to Sona or any other gal... according to her, Dev is her only possession...

Problem is this word "POSSESSION"🤣

I understand what u r saying is that he should have reacted ..but he himself was hesitant..because of some reason ..I cant put finger on it..probably he wanted duo to sort out themselves..and today..too he is just observing the situation ..I feel he neither want dev to get hurt nor ishwari ..and he doesnt know ..what to do now..he cant shout on ishwari coz he know the consequences of it nor he can do anything for dev..

Hey there😃😃

Losing interest in the show to be frank..

And no...I wanst bashing Dev. Just didn't understand his reasons for hiding. One would think Momma's boy Dev would be glad to tell his mother about following her wishes.

Can you explain why he is hiding it?
