Story wise, Khwaish is moving forward at a steady pace, but, as for acting wise, it was a good epi.
As usual, I liked azaan's facial expressions, and how he keeps a blacnk face, but narrows his eyes to express the fury w/in him. Also, the tone of voice he uses w/ saniya and changing it as he slowly reveals that he knows saniya's true face. First, he's playing w/ her, toying w/ her statements, and then acts serious yet condescending and then blowing up in saniya's face! His expressions were good and all and how he sets saniya up to test her love for him. But I didn't like how azaan was shoving saniya. Azaan is angry and is physically channeling it he can't verbally express all the hatred he has for saniya, but since he is pushing her, yasir shouldn't have hesitated. When he's hitting her, he's holding back, and his hand just kind off grazes off of her. Since he's in this role as an overprotective husband and father, if he is going to shove saniya, he should have been more forceful. I'm not an advocator for violence, just saying that the scene could have been more realistic.
Saniya was also ok. I was sick of her bakwaas in the car, and her lines on the bridge. The way she delivered her lines was awesome. I hate her and many ppl hate her, but she is so absolutely obsessed w/ azaan it's mind-boggling. "I'm willing to die for you, and kill for you!!" That line is so powerful, and made even more realistic by her facial expression. But after her reaction to azaan saying that they should die so that they will be united in death, we know that she's only intent on killing to obtain the ultimate prize. Her love is one sided b/c she only wants to be loved and lavish in love, but she doesn't want to give anything in return.
And then our dear SQ enters and begs azaan to stop his idiocy, and that she knows saniya's true face. The line when she tells azaan to stop for god's sake, she should have said for my sake (as in afreen's sake). That would have been more romantic, but there is no one greater than god, so I guess it works. I feel that Priya needs to use her hands more and be more physical rather than stationary.
Where in the name of heaven, did the doc show up from? Was he in the car w/ afreen in her mad chase around town and he just wasn't shown on screen? It would have been interesting to see the interaction btw the doc and afreen and how she exposes his daughter's actions to him. From yesterday's epi, he showed that he has full faith and devotion to his daughter. How did afreen persuade him of this other, unknown side of saniya to him?
Saniya's chapter isn't over. Before leaving, she specifically tells azaan that in his love, she can kill anyone, and now that azaan has jilted her, she will stop at no end to kill afreen. I couldn't believe that she told azaan that she even tried to kill afreen's child. Seriously, what has afreen ever done to saniya to deserve her wrath? So, she married azaan, but after finding out about AS, she was willing to step aside. Her need to torture afreen was absolutely unnecessary. Her ploys only drove AA together, and ultimately, she lost. However, she'll now be back w/ vengeance. I wonder what new tricks will be up her sleeve. Will she be successful in killing AA's child?
Hia Allah! Did ya'll notice how blushy blushy AA were when azaan was saying that they should start fresh, and their life will be filled w/ love, and love, and only love. There was so much affection in azaan's eyes, and afreen couldn't believe at the turn of her fate. I found the scene a lil disappointing b/c AA don't actually confess their love for ea other. It's just kind of assumed when azaan says that their life will be filled w/ love, but they don't say "I love you."
Going back to an earlier scene... I wanted to point out that afreen begs the driver to go faster so that she'll be able to reach her manzil. In last Thursday's epi I think, the fakhir baba blessed AA, praying that they'll reach their manzil by the end of the day, and, if I'm not mistaken, it's still the same day!! Yay!! Finally, a serial in which the good predictions actually come true.
I have no words for naaz. She makes me so angry. Has anyone been slapped so hard that their face has gotten bruised? I know backhanding someone may cause that, but just slapping? God!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! Yasir has become a complete joru ka ghulam.
What is the raaz appa was talking about? Now my curiosity has been sparked. Does it refer to the article someone had posted earlier that zareena is kabir's murderer? What is the raaz? Is kabir still alive (but if he is, why would appa try to hook up AA?)? Or kabir is the son of shahnewaaz's first wife? Or is azaan the son of another woman w/ whom he had an affair (referring back to the scene after he found out about AS's relationship and blasted azaan that he can't be his son b/c his son wouldn't do something so deceitful to his daughter, but I think he only said that out of anger). Is she referring to the raaz that came up when the serial first started; the raaz at the country home or something? "Or is it something totally different?
Phenomenal acting by appa in today's epi. It was kind of inconsistent b/c in the previous epi, she was healthy and talking fine, but in today's epi, her health totally went down the drain. The make up and frazzled hair was fantastic. Her lines were also good. I just hope that she has enough time to tell afreen what ever the raaz is before she dies, b/c usually a character like her dies before they are able to convey the message. Though, AA will be slow in returning home b/c they have just found ea other and will want to spend some time w/ ea other.
The last scene, w/ AA talking about their child was so cute. Tehehehe. Azaan is amazing b/c he has already accepted this child as his own. Hai, he wants a girl, but afreen wants a boy. What if they have twins?! Suhana is a pretty name, (but, this is trivial, I'm partially biased against that name b/c suhana in mdta seduced rohan away from simran). What does it mean? Breeze? There scene was so cute. Azaan is awesome w/ the little smiles when he thinks about his child, and then scolds afreen for calling his daughter naughty. Afreen argues back that he's only saying that b/c he's a dad; if he tried being a mom, he'd know how naughty kids are. Their lines were simple yet cute.
And I have to end there b/c I missed the last few minutes. I can't watch the video on-line b/c I don't have sound. If anyone wants to fill in the remaining part, feel free to do so.
