I have a feeling not many people will agree with me on this maybe because I am the minority here and the way I expected this show to continue is different from what most people expect...

Earlier whenever people wrote something like butchering a character I felt they were overreacting but today I have to say that Sonakshi Bose's character is butchered ...before people start throwing rotten tomatoes please hear me out why I feel so...

There was a time when I wanted Sonakshi to go on a date with Neil as she needed a friend and being single there was nothing wrong in it but the girl surprised me by not showing any interest in Neil because in her heart she was committed to Dev even though he was never hers.Though i was dissapointed as I could never see jealous Dev I was proud of her as I had never seen such a character on TV .She didn't have to wait for Dev

Today the scenerio is different we see the same girl in the similar situation behave so differently ...it did not take her a month to forget her "true love" ..a girl who took time to make friends is now seen leaning onto a guy''s shoulder ..the guy she met couple of days back ...she is OK with meeting him for marriage and ready to move on for her parents ...let's keep Dev aside for sometime ...it doesn't matter what someone else did ...one cannot lose their individuality. ...I am sorry but I cannot stop myself from qestioning her character. .she comes across as a desperate gal who just wants a love story ..be it Dev or someone else ... maybe she was never in love with real Dev..she just fell for the caring Dev she saw in the hospital not the real Dev. ..

I believe a true partner is one who will be with you during tough times and will understand your pain ,dilemma .Harsh words are exchanged when people are in relationship ,people get angry initially but they never let off of their partner so easily without fighting. ..this is where Sonakshi failed ...

Natasha''s track was handled with so much dignity. .even though both the leads were single they never showed a scene where Dev went overboard with his affection or liking for her...it was subtle and effective ...people could feel Devakshi''s love when they were no together...

Lastly, I know Devakshi will be together but what matters to me in the journey of their love...if the message is when things goes wrongI will find another man''s arm when things gets settled I will be back to ny true love then sorry I am not interested ...

Same concern .. But not from Sona's perspective, but from Dev's perspective..

After a break-up, a girl does break emotionally and seeks for someone for solace.. I can give Sona the benefit of doubt, PROVIDED, she is asking for a lot of time and just wants to getting to know Rithvik.. If anything else, yes she would come across as desperate.. They should show more on friendship part than chemistry blah blah..

From Dev's perspective, missing Sona is not enough for him to realize her worth.. ! And this is a huge concern for me ! I am not in support of jealousy track if you ask me, since like the minority, more than the couple, I got hooked to the show for its realistic approach.. And any melodrama puts me off.. OTT reactions on jealousy is also a melodrama..

So the bottomline is, I am not in support of jealousy track.. 😳 If Dev and Sona can't sort out their emotions themselves, they are honestly not ready and eligible to be in a relationship sorry ! Very childish..

P.S. - On a funny note, this reminds me of SO MUCH of Angshuman from Jab We Met.. Dumping the girl on impulse, seeing her with someone else and feeling jealous, the girl orchestrating a romance with the guy (that's what I read that he is a friend and is helping her) and then boy realizing her worth seeing rain romance etc.. 😆

wow!, Wow! you wrote exactly what i wanted to write.. it is amazing that in cyber land, two people can think so alike.. i just want to say thank you for writing this. Your post will be very close to my heart. i am also not able to digest those stupid snippets and was asking myself as to what was going on.. How can she be able to move around with anyone after such an intense love story.. Looks like it is now Sona's character to be assassinated. I guess I m on a total different arena because it's not from dev's perspective neither sonakshi. Segments , spoiler r shown in bits prices they r about the situations literally being shot that time . It's never clear why did that scene occurred or wat lead that scene to be shot n that makes things really misleading. They certainly give a lead to the story for our further satisfaction but sometimes thay can mislead.

I mean not only u but many are pre deciding about either the story , triangle , pov etc .I just feel that until n unless that story is actually shown we sold wait for it coz segments n spoilersr just a small part of the many emotions that takes place everyday. rite things will happen at the proper moment n this story have always given us the best moments. the real essence will comes only wen we see it on tv

I don't know why people like Jealousy track. It's such a childish emotion and clichd. This is already turning into a saas bahu with suicide attempts and poor scripting and butchering of lead chars. Sometimes its Ishwari , sometimes it's Dev and sometimes it's Sona.

Do we need any more run of the mill stuff on top of this??
