Bechara Dev !!

Heart wrenching episode yesterday !!
Cried a lot after watching that .
Was not planning to ; but ended up watching it.
I don't think many will agree to my pov- still my take on it .
I am all for sona only !!
But , feeling really bad for Dev also.
So many people feel that sona should move on ; go with the person family has suggested,
I understand all that
In the back of my mind, I feel- is this true love ??
Sona claims to know Dev !!
He knows his impulsive behavior-
She knows that he will tell so many things like that but wouldn't mean it that way.
He has done it before.
He had come back running to her once he realize his mistake.
I am not justifying Dev.
This was a drastic step !!
Situation also was like that.
I had hoped sona would understand dev's situation

Speaking from personal experience,
I am sure many of us are impulsive.
Talk something in rage & anger that would not meant what we said
Still , if ur partner is mature enough - they shouldn't respond at that particular point.

Once everything cools off u can have a talk on this.
I am not saying sona should run back to him.
But if u truly love him , don't give ur cold shoulder.
I am sure , she can very well see Dev is totally shattered
She don't have to go back to him
I know everyone will bash me now.
Probably I like shaheer- that is why I am trying to see dev's angle.

True love never dies. Sona had got it much later after the realization.
Dev also will get his true love back. He had to wait .
He has to win her back . But he will do it.

True love should be destroyed because of ego clash.
Easily people say, she has to move on.
Even Dev repents, should accept him.
Me, may be of another generation - can't digest that.
True love is hard to get...

I don't think mental mom gave him a choice this time. He had already talked with her twice and had clearly said both the times that he wanted to spend his life with Sona. She clearly agreed to it both the times and then took sleeping pills, then mamajee put all the blame on their relationship and Sona. The doctor also told him that his mother would have died and they needed to remove the cause that was causing stress to his mom. Any one would panic and have a knee jerk reaction. The poor guy was crying when he broke up.

This was necessary to make their bond strong.

Lovely post and bang on post ...you have asked right questions infact I had same questions in mind...I'm not sure CVs will focus on those questions ...will they ever focus on these points or will Sona remember her promises of not leaving him

Felt so bad for DevAkshi... Me too crying dear while watching the episode 😭 😭
It was so heartbreaking... Poor DevAkshi... They don't deserve this...

She still loves him...N she did declare it to saurab yesterday...I still love him...

While you are right about cooling down before reacting in a relationship, the whole glorification about how true love is bigger than ego (somehow when a woman has self respect, it is always touted as ego), it is not entirely right.

And the same applies to Dev too. (I however, am really impressed with the actor, he is amazing)

Those who put love over self respect end up loosing both.

All those who are talking about so many sacrifices made by Ishwari for Dev, forget that just because Sona was not born poor, does not make her parent's love (or even sacrifices, as most middle class parents need to do them for kids too) any less.

Why do we forget that respect in a relationship is as much, if not more, important than love.

While it is understandable why Dev reacted the way he did, it is understandable in Sona's case too.
