wow.. finally i get to see one post where some one thinks like me 😊 . Same here, i too don't feel Dev did anything wrong in choosing his MOM- his " GOD" over sona. even during the break up conversation, he very well made it clear to Sona that its DEV - son of Ishwari talking to her and not her " lover Dev". what he makes right makes sense, if he could not take care of a relation that lasted from the time of his birth, how could he possibly keep up his relation with Sona.

At this point in time his only concern to get back his MAA and make sure that she is happy. nothing else matters to him!!!. That does not mean he loves Sona any less, she will still remain his soulmate and he will SEEK her ( based on phone precap, spoilers). The breakdown and shock he had when sona said Goodbye Mr.Dixit says it all.

All he said was " Ab hume alag ho jana chahiye." Yeh nahi kaha ki " hum kabhi EK nahi ho sakte"... i know, i know i sound like an idiot here and all the team sona guys will start bashing me up for this.

As he once said, it takes a minute to break something but ages to build. he now has to work even harder to build their relationship all over again and gain back the trust.

some where i have a gut feeling that it will be either Sona's dada or Bijoy himself who will see this aspect of Dev and help him in winning back Sona.

I am more inclined to believe it will be Bijoy as i see that he has a great quality to read a person rather than take him at face value.

I'm not justifying Dev for breaking his relation with sona, he is just out of his mind he lost control on wat he is thinking abt himself and sona at the point of taking decision he didn't think abt neither him nor sona how she will react he was only thinking abt his mom who sacrificed her life completely in raising her children and acing all hurdles by herself and from childhood he saw his mom suffering and he made a commitment to himself that he will never hurt his mom for any cause and when he got to know that his m was hospitalized by his relation the only thing he got to his mind is to put end to his relation to save his mom and give her the happiness he never thought wat might made ishwari not accept sona or his relation he never thought abt it the only solution he thought is mom is not happy because o his relation a straight forward question and the solution he got his he should put his relation a break that's it he never thought beyond it. According to Dev behaviour He never thinks beyond. From starting either it may be in Neha engagement cermony he never thought beyond the problem and wat will be the result of the problem to full fill Neha wish he bribed him saying that he will give 30%of share he never thought wat will be the consequences of a straight forward solution he takes in haste.

He himself feels that his family faced more troubles and he tries his best to full fill all their wishes even if he going to face ahard time personally and he tried todo it even if he knows he will die in full filling all those wishes he will give up himself a selfless person when it cromes to family. A person who is really rare to find but at this moment he forgot abt sona.



If we see is expressions he was controlling himself and trying himself for the commitment he took for his life to be a Gud sona and see his mom happy. He was composing himself he knew he was wrong for hurting sona but he didn't have a choice left since he has commited for his life to make ishwari happy for her hardships she faced in her life. The last few seconds when sona was leaving he was blank and when he caught hold of his head he was like as if he is cursing himself abd his situation for hurting sona. When sona said I love you too his expressions were like he wanted to die at the same moment instead of facing sona and her questions. He was afraid to loose his mom if he tries to convince ishwari for his relation with sona.
