Firstly, the lawyer's judgement:

Chhotti Sumo comes visiting Badi Sumo...these are the worst of times...and Chhotti Sumo reminds Suman how lonely she is in this big bad world...She has only one person she can bank on- Her Nanu.

I welcomed this thinking by Suman..High time she left her Sacrificing, Understanding Devi Roop! 👍🏼 I hope the sentiment stays for some time.👏

This is the BREAKING POINT..

And what was so striking about it was the way it affected both the protagonists.

Shravan has been dilly dallying for quite a while, so he didn't need a Chhotta Shravan to convince himself...also signifies how much lesser he was affected as compared to Suman. For Suman it was a trust that was broken...something she had held on to, her entire life...

Shravan aayega...Shravan aayegaa..Despite everything, Shravan would come.

No more. She doesn't believe it anymore. The last ten years she had felt secure even if he had not been there...There was always the hope and belief that he would come. Now...she has to go back to that Sumo who seemed to know back then she was on her own in this world...Why did she foolishly lead herself to believe otherwise these ten years? Why did she start weaving dreams that would only remain nightmares? I sincerely wish the CVs had added one more dialogue..'Woh tab bhi bhaaga tha. Kabhi tere liye nahi rukegaa...'

'Aur main yahaan soch rehi thi'.. She was expecting validation...when she got disappointment. (Not forgetting the fact Shravan was provoked into this situation by her own actions, but the magnitude of his actions blind Suman to an extreme...Understandable.

So now, questions such as whether Suman would accept Adi's proposal become pointless...Given the extent to which she has been shaken, what would make Suman start believing in Shravan again? Can that be a long road to redemption?😃😆

I sincerely appreciate the fact that Suman is not angry, she is just disillusioned...it would take a lot to gain back that trust, given how selfless she is.

Unlike Shravan who has taken so long to realise he cannot hate her no matter what (may be he is yet to learn that), Suman knows she will rush to him when the need arises...That would still happen..She wouldn't be someone who'd look the other way when he hurts himself...But it is going to be on her own terms...

As for the shaadi, I saw that snap of Adi and Suman driving Preekar...If the writer doesn't want to bulldoze Suman into an 'abusive' relationship (writing that with a heavy heart...knowing Shravan is not like that...But this is a relationship where she'd have to constantly prove herself, considering he continues to stay blind to many things...), I am all with him. 👍🏼

So...If there is no shaadi, what can we expect from the future track?

I think Suman will prove once again how dear Shravan is to her...but she will stay within the limits she has set for herself... and Adi will have to battle this out with the man he knows Suman seems to care for...he would slowly learn who her heart belongs to. 😉

As for Preekar- If Kamini cannot get her revenge, I hope she takes it out on Preeti.

Let her prove to the world, how Pretty Preeti has never had to adjust for anyone and has her little head filled with nonsense and how Pushkar's calm and composed wife can get a little too much for him to tackle at the slightest hint of disturbance. Looking forward to some realistic saas bahu battles here! 👍🏼

After all, Shravan needs to know how his idols (Kamini and Preeti) come crashing down one by one...and start seeing how different his Sumo is from the rest! 👍🏼

I was waiting for your take on today's episode, and honestly I am a bit taken aback that your sympathies lie with Suman, but thats the beauty of being on this forum. Sabke points of view... Actually both these characters are imperfect and have kinks in their armour. Both have battles to win, egos to fight and demons to overcome. Suman is extremely "impression conscious", whether it is in a good or bad way and the only real person who she has seemed to show her real side was Shravan. He loved her as is, so in a way she took his love, or his being there for her granted, and she never grew up. Shravan on the other hand did the same. Whatever Nirmala did, and Ramnath too, has had a deep impact on his psyche and everything is just plain messed up. It's just weird how Aditya has all of a sudden become so important that he is driving PreeKar, and not Varun or Shravan. CVs do suffer from inconsistency and short term lets make it convenient syndrome. But PreeKar shadi done, and Nanu (can't die) blackmailing done, how are ShraMan even going to get in one frame? Matlab common ground kya hai?

I thought that was too jarring - particularly after the scary intense breakdown of shravan and their relationship - but as you said - may be it was deliberately placed to show sumo snap out of her secret world of hope where shravan understands her.

having said that - it should not have been difficult for her to understand where part of shravan's anger is coming from - the fact that he has no clue as why suman has been categorically keeping him at bay. so it should not come to her as a big surprise - being a friend with this guy for over more than a decade, she out of all people should know how sensitive shravan is and how possessive he is too, when it comes to her. was that not the same streak she was trying to stroke this time around?

but she goes ahead and takes shravan's words verbatim and decides he is not worth it? i honestly did not get it at all - felt like a huge emotional disconnect. and if that is the case then as of now, they are not meant to be together.

it should not only be a road to realization of shravan - but for suman as well. hope the show reflects on that.
