The female Salman Khan of Bollywood?

Here is an interesting blind from a leading daily. Can you guess who?

There's this actress whose movies have done well and she has won awards too. She was recently approached for a Salman Khan film too. While she turned it down, she also asked the director, "How can there be two Salman Khans in one film?" The second Salman she was referring to was herself of course. Ouch!

What a load of bull crap. Being compared to Salman Khan should be a capital offense. Why does she need to be compared to a man? Why dont people just compare her to Madhuri or just being herself? She can actually act, unlike Salman for one.

As much as I dislike Salman...but Deepika is not a female Salman Khan...she is no match for his stardom and karisma...and before the feminists jump on me ...no this is nothing to do with Deepika being a girl...its just a simple comparison of their respective starpowers, screen presence ...no ...there is not one actress today who can be called a female Salman Khan.

Actresses getting the same 'Khans' type of popularity is a far way to go, but if we compare jitna females ko mil sakta usmain DP is the female Salman Khan- in terms of popularity. If there is an actress who can compete that way, it is DP. Kind of like how Sridevi or Madhuri were back in those days!
