Thank you for the special efforts for decoding shagun's intentions👏. Hope you enjoyed😆
I understand, she's kind of obsessed with Raman. After her return as ruhi arora, she always blabbered that mein ssab se door rahungi but never followed it. She tried to meet aadisecretly. She always wanted to enter their lives maybe she didn't wanted to ruin their lives but always wanted a connection with them.
But with ishu, after ruhi's death, when Raman called her manhoos, she believed it was true and never tried to meet them all the seven years thinking her presence would harm them. Literally seven years.
But sshagun cannot live in sacrificing mode for long. I understood that no situation can affect shagun a lot. She realized all her mistakes once and still chose to do the same mistake again. There was no strong foundation in her repentance. Like she said in one of the previous episodes, thacchayi acchayi ka bhoot aaya and when it left she's feeling herself again.
And about raman's love, it's really tough to be loved by Raman. Only who loves Raman unconditionally can understand his love and it's only ishita.
Remember Raman used to taunt ishita with all the disgusting words after her return. No one supported him. Neither his family, kids, not even his fans in the forum supported his words😆. But ishita's words to mani about Raman were shocker. She still loves him and still wanna set his life. She way too understand him. Actually that's enough, no one else needs to understand him, if ishu understands him, then all done.
And about Raman, no one better than you can describe Raman. You summed it up all. Nothing more to add😃
Sorry for wasting your time if it doesn't make any sense at all😳

I don't have much to add honestly bc you do such a good job!

I think though what's most remarkable about Raman is the fortitude and intensity of his emotions. It consumes him entirely and that in turn spreads to those who love him. The only person that can complement his fire, is the water known as Ishita. She's a perfectly calm and cooling figure no matter the intensity of his burn. The pretty thing is he brings out the heat and passion in her while she calms and controls the flame in him.

As for Shagun - face palm to her. She will never be content and will forever end up alone as she destroys everything in her path even when she is given second & third chances.

Ah Krishy, you're a poet and you didn't know it! I loved how you contrasted Raman's fire with Ishita's water. And I think it's very good how they're highlighting Raman is the push that Ishita sometimes needs to fight, like you said he brings to her the heat, whether that's them alone, or her standing up, confident.

And aa far asv your analysis of raman goes it's bang on!

And that has been true of him thankfully since we gave first seen raman in the early days of YHM..he is a man of contradictions. .the old 'Happy Bhalla' was probably in a way trusting., responsible, loving and in that essence a 'satisfied' man. But shagun's betrayal brought out a Raman who was 'passionate' ..passionate in hate, passionate in hate and passionate in anger. .he wanted revenge but he never aggressively sought revenge...he did want shagun to repent for leaving him..but he also wanted her to know that if he had wanted he could have anyways been a successful, ruthless man who could 'buy' things she aspired for. .but he chose to stay back and revel in the small things life gave him, her and their small family. .
Sadly 17 odd years have still not taught shagun this lesson...she still yearns for things beyond her reach or need..then it was power, money and luxuries. .now when she again has a chance at getting what she craved for b in n these 7 yrs of being 'good' she again craves for a child they is not her own and a man who long stopped being hers...đŸ„±

On the other hand , the new ruthless 'passionate ' raman bhalla met ishita...and she channeled that passion and anger to that 'all consuming love' the kind of crazy, mad love which the old 'happy' bhalla coukd never have loved anyone with (yup he loved...but that love was a more simplistic love, like the man he was then)..this love translated to his work, to his kids,m to his family..making him fight for then everytime tjhe odds were against them. .and more so fight fate itself. , when ishita was given a death sentence..
Now that same love which lay dormant without ishita is back with renewed vigour..this time to give ishita what is rightfully hers..and well to claim ishita again. ..the woman who is the only one who knows this passionate ramsn bhalla.. the only one who can claim him too...

Shagun I feel is now jealous not of the raman she knew once who loved her like crazy. .but is jealous of both raman and ishita's mad passionate consuming love..the kind of love she can and never will find in her live..because this love is as much give as take. .as much sacrifice as possessiveness. ..and shagun, while always 'wanting' in love..can never 'give'...hence she will fail again. . And this time far worse than she ever did.😛

Loved reading this Pb, I loved how you spoke about hem claiming each other, because I think post leap to what Raman felt he couldn't do. He felt she left. He felt she was marrying someone else. How could she, when the only one to claim her could only ever be him.

Wonderful post as usual Zoya 👏
This 7 yrs separation not only has strengthen their bond but their love is now also increased for each other that no tom dick or harry can come in between them now.
Ishita might not be there for 7 yrs with Raman physically but she was present with him through their love, memories and most importantly she was present through Pihu and Adi.
Her answers are already present in her questions.
Raman used to love her but not now.Present and past mein buhat difference hota hai and may i ask how did she she kept family intact ? Romi was not there..Bhalla's and Iyers were not on talking terms,Raman was rude who only interacted with his children ,so what exactly she did sacrifice for this family ?
She ditched Manoj who loved her whole heartily even knowing her colorful past yet she played with his emotions by giving him hopes and at last broke his heart.Wasn't this cheating on her part ?
She is so used to cheat people yet doesn't find faults in herself rather is hell bent on portraying herself as a victim.
This family and most importantly Raman and children are of Ishita and even after 7 yrs of spending with them she couldn't get them because they didn't belonged to her nor today nor yesterday

Good to have you back on the forum and as always a wonderful post.

Honestly, I am tired of shaggy and all her whining saga which makes her change colors faster than we can blink but then again this is how this show works and there's nothing we can do about it except for discussing it in the vain hope that it would somehow reach the cvs if they happen to lurk on the forum

So that's what I am gonna do - discuss with a vain hope the Nth transformation of Shady Shaggy..

To me this woman is a perennial example of one thing and one thing alone - and that is being never satisfied with her lot in life and always wishing and seeking to be the center of attraction and attention from everybody.

To me her sudden love đŸ€ą that we herd about last night for Raman stems from one thing and one thing alone - the fact that she thinks she had the perfect life ... she wasn't loved by anyone except Pihu in these years but she was revered and respected - in his anger to simply lash out on Ishita, Raman had made her once again feel like the queen of the world when he had called her asli maa and the works...

What Ishita understood by Raman' those actions and words was he wants to hurt her, simple, loud and clear.

Raman in his intentions to lash out somehow ended up giving this woman what she strived to do for seven years post Ishita' disappearance and before her reappearance - she was noticed and appreciated by him...

Before Ishita' appearance, Raman hadn't so much as given a damn about shaggy though she had tried everything she could do to get his attention - not only did she take up the responsibilities that were Ishita' but she also aped her by mellowing her attire - by dressing as conservatively as Ishita did, the behenji she mocked and to show she can do nice by others joined a NGO...the families - I say families because even Amma before knowing Ishita is alive and Vandu after knowing about her sister pushed Shaggy to officiate things between Raman and her đŸ„±

Yet, none of it mattered to Raman because for him it all came down to one simple fact - he can never replace his Ishita with anyone not even Shagun, the woman who gave birth to all his children.

Yes, Raman adores his kids like crazy and Shagun has always thought of herself at an advantage because she has the most fertile womb in all lands and in her head that stands above all because what would Raman have if not for her - she ended up giving him the status of a father - his son and his daughters and that should be enough to make him worship her, let alone be loved by him...

But what this daft woman fails to understand even after all these years is that the Raman she left and the Raman Ishita found are two completely different persons albeit the same man.

The man Shagun cheated on and abandoned was her husband whose love she never understood, let alone cherish or admire.

The man Shagun left was a father of two who had his son taken away from him and a daughter who reminded him of his bitter past so much that he could never bear to open his heart to his own child, afraid of being jilted by his own flesh and blood too, the innocent who suffered for merely being a reminder...

The man Shagun abandoned in aftermath wasn't just a deceived, cuckolded husband but he was a father without a child.

The Raman Ishita found was as childless as her when they first met.

I say this because, it is after he meets Ishita he realizes how he has closed off his heart to everyone he loves, just because of one person, how he has made his blameless child bear the burden of his past, for which she wasn't responsible.

The man Ishita found in Raman realized how in pining for his son he had been sorely negligent towards the daughter he always had by him

And in understanding that the man that Raman became, the man who once again opened up his heart to love had all but molded himself into the person whom Ishita needed to feel complete and who needed Ishita just as much to be himself, this version of the man that he chose to be, wanted to be, the best that he could be and he couldn't be that without her, without his Ishita - to smile and laugh at him, whenever he was being an adorable goof or to cry and hug him whenever he was lost and heartbroken...

He needed her so that he could be what he always strived to be, what he knew in his heart he was meant to be - a happy man with his little family, a man who has someone to come home to, a home he loves to come back to at the end of the day...

What Shagun never understood or doesnt want to accept is - that she might have spend the last 7 years of her life in the same house as him, but not for 7 days did she give Raman a home...

What this daft woman knows in her heart but wont admit because woe is me is that while she may have had her perfect little dream in these past 7 years for Raman they were day in and out nothing less than his worst nightmare.

In her monologue she says she had everything Raman, family, home, kids ...he would have married her too and fallen in love with her again, because once upon a time she was the woman he loved -_-

But for Raman there was nothing...

He came back to love, to live when he first opened his heart to his child, his little Ruhi, who he had run to embrace on a day when all his doubts had shattered and his prejudices and fears blown to smithereens - as he had for the first time wholeheartedly embraced his child who had wanted nothing more of him and in doing so, in allowing himself to love, to live again for his daughter, he had come to care and eventually love the woman who had made it possible for him to be close to Ruhi and without the two of them - there could be nothing, absolutely nothing worth living for him

what a wonderfully stunning write up. i loved reading this. you just have such a way with words i can't possibly add anymore.😳
